Attorney George Conway says he hurls barbs at President Donald Trump on Twitter so he doesn’t “end up screaming” at his wife Kellyanne, who serves as Counselor to the President.
Conway, a Trump foe once under consideration for a top position at the Department of Justice, has ratcheted up criticism about the president in recent days, questioning whether his wife’s boss lacks the mental fitness to lead the country.
“It’s so maddening to watch,” Conway told the Washington Post Tuesday. “The mendacity, the incompetence, it’s just maddening to watch. The tweeting is just the way to get it out of the way, so I can get it off my chest and move on with my life that day. That’s basically it. Frankly, it’s so I don’t end up screaming at her about it.”

Shortly after her husband’s tweet storm, Kellyanne told reporters outside the White House that she does not share his concerns about President Trump’s mental fitness. “No I don’t share those concerns,” Conway said, adding, “I have four kids, and I was getting them out of the house this morning before I got here so I didn’t talk to the president about substance, so I may not be up to speed on all” on his tweets.
Conway’s insults caught the attention of President Trump’s 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale, who called the attorney “jealous” of Kellyanne’s career.
“We all know that @realDonaldTrump turned down Mr. Kellyanne Conway for a job he desperately wanted,” Parscale tweeted. “He barely worked @TheJusticeDept and was either fired/quit, didn’t want the scrutiny? Now he hurts his wife because he is jealous of her success.”

Seems Mr. Conway can blow off stream using Twitter, but not President Trump.
I think Matalin and Carville had, and showed, basic respect for each other. It never was this bad.
However anyone from different political sides feel about Kellyanne......i bet they feel bad for her.
I have never seen a political spouse humiliate their spouse in this way. (Leaving out affairs/sexual things). It’s really unseemly & unprecedented. He has to be mentally unhinged. I think it’s one of the rare times where a marriage counselor would throw up their hands.
He needs to put his big boy pants on and shut up.

This is quite odd situation. Kelly’s husband should have integrity to keep his opinions to himself because of his wife. When he publicly insults POTUS, he insults his wife. She on the other hand should have enough integrity to offer her resignation for her marriage is incompatible with her job b/c her husband can’t control himself. The media is using her problem marriage to libel and slander POTUS at her expense. The country should not be subjected to their personal interests.
From where I sit, she needs to choose. However...it's probably exactly what her disloyal husband wants. She cuts him loose and he gets to embarrass her even more, plus he eventually gets hefty alimony payments and maybe a book deal.

The guy is mentally unstable and obviously mentally ill. Families usually don’t like to discuss other family member’s mental illnesses ... so I understand Kellyanne doesn’t want to aggravate the situation at home by talking about her husband’s mental illness.

It is very sad when someone in the house is having emotional issues to put it mildly. And people start asking you about that person what do you say? Specially if you’re married to that person and he’s doing it on the public airways. Very embarrassing and very hard to deal with. She is in a very bad spot and that is probably an understatement.
George is taking the high road again.
