Associated Press ^ | February 7, 2019 | Alan Suderman

With Virginia’s top three elected officials engulfed in scandal, fellow Democrats were rendered practically speechless, uncertain of how to thread their way through the racial and sexual allegations and the tangled political implications. […]

Everyone in Richmond, it seemed, was waiting Thursday for Virginia’s Legislative Black Caucus to respond. The caucus has been calling for Northam’s resignation over the past week but was silent about the latest developments.

“We’ve got a lot to digest,” the group’s chairman, Del. Lamont Bagby, said Wednesday. …

The Black Caucus is far to radical to ask for advise.

Go to the black clergy groups. They represent far more blacks, those who really know and can help!!

They can’t simply renounce infanticide. So they’re is a tangled web. A fifth grader with a basic sense of decency could do better

We have to digest... The double standards for democrats...

All about power politics, nothing about character and morals.

Northam will propose reparations for the black community from Virginia’s, “rainy day” surplus to buy his indulgence from indiscretions. Cash for clunkers.

Never mind the AP’s pearl-clutching over the possibility of Kirk Cox getting the job.

The Black Caucus solution should be “turn everything over to the Republicans, for it was they who freed the slaves”.

Such a thing ought to be quick to digest, indeed.

On another thread someone posted that “...Democrats in Virginia have not had this much bad news since Day 3 at Gettysburg.” Or words to that effect. Works for me. All these bastards should resign. TODAY!

Dear Black people, when the Marxists consolidate their control they won’t need you anymore. Oh, and they hate you.

For starters, not a Larry fan, but I’m all but certain he’s correct with this tweet:

Speculation that all 3 statewide VA Dem officeholders will resign is overwrought. One or more will survive. VA Dems won in an anti-Trump landslide in 2017. They’re not going to turn government over to a pro-Trump GOP House Speaker, who’s next-in-line to be Governor.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

How I see it - based on “current sins”:

Northam - must resign because he lied either Friday or Saturday, can’t be telling the truth on both days. Dems also need him to go because he has exposed their infanticide scheme(s) which is what started this whole mess to start with. Former classmates arranged to ‘release the Kraken’ pic because they were so appalled by his infanticide comments. Add to that ‘stupidity’ - the man actually considered moonwalking in front of the press until his wife warned him off of doing it (”inappropriate circumstances” she hissed at him).

Fairfax - must resign. If Northam goes, he would be Gov - cannot have a Gov with sexual assault allegations hanging over his head - both sides have lawyered up big time (Blasey Ford’s attys for her, Kavanaugh’s attys for him) - not going away any time soon. For whatever reason, it appears to me that Fairfax isn’t a memeber of the “in” group in the Virginia Democrat Machine. The Dems need to be careful because he’s black, but I don’t see him as Gov.

Herring - the survivor. He did not lie (at least not obviously), pre-empted exposure of pictures by apologizing in a way that preserves the hope of “rehabilitation” on his part, plus he was ‘only’ 19. Yes, he is a hypocrite because he called for Northam to resign over his blackface/KKK pics, but when has mere ‘hypocrisy’ and double standards ever been an issue for Demon Rats? Herring is a radical Progressive - the Dems would love to have him in the Gov seat AND he would be there for 3 years to finish out Northam’s term, then could run for another four. His campaign for Gov after Northam is already up/running & I think I saw where PP has already committed lots (and lots) of money to it already.

IMO, Winner of Virginia ‘Survivor’: Mark Herring

The issue is not whether they lied or not.

No, it’s definitely not .... but that is what I’ve heard some of the folks talking about as the way to separate one of them out for survival. All 3 are NOT going to be gone.

The basis for a Northam resignation should be on his infanticide views, period. He is not morally fit to lead. The blackface/KKK stuff is a distraction that the Dems are more than happy to use as an excuse since abortion/infanticide is their Holy Grail.

Now they have to find a way to minimize the blackface because either Herring or Northam has to survive despite that. I think Fairfax is untenable. Thus it’s ‘who lied’. Anyway, my money is on Herring - we’ll see how it ends up. All 3 might stay in place - that wouldn’t be a surprise to me either, frankly.

Any “Black Caucus” is racist by its very constitution.

Wouldn’t surprise me either. That would really indicate how deep blue VA has gone in so brief a time.

Surely digging into the Black Caucus member’s backgrounds will yield a bonanza of unsavory shenanigans.

Northern VA (all the reporters working in DC & government employees - lots of Deep State types living there) and Bobby Scott’s eastern VA district & Richmond are the blue. The rest of us are pretty darn “red” and upset with how the voting keeps turning out .... we’ve pretty much lost our conservative voices.
