An entire panel of Democratic candidates for Virginia governor endorsed the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement during a Tuesday evening debate. Virginia Military Institute's top official resigned Monday, a week after Gov. Ralph Northam announced an investigation into the school's culture and policies following reports of racism that received national attention. Retired Army Gen. J.H. Lieutenant Gov. Justin Fairfax plans to make his run for governor official this week. His office announced that he’ll file to run either Thursday or Friday. He’ll hold two campaign kickoff events over the weekend. One in Fairfax on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Historic Fairfax County Courthouse, and the other on Sunday in Hampton at 3 p.m. at Ft. Monroe. A Virginia store clerk heard a crash that sounded like a car had crashed into the place at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday. He grabbed a gun and shot at three masked men he found stealing merchandise and cash from the shop. When it was over, the clerk was the one in handcuffs.
