Special Counsel Robert Mueller on Friday recommended that Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former personal attorney, receive “substantial” prison time for several federal crimes despite his cooperation in the ongoing Russia investigation.
Wow.
So much for cooperation.

interesting. Especially the bit that Cohen paid for the stormy daniels story and reimbursed himself by submitting fraudulent billings under a non-existant retainer agreement - and his motivation was not altruistic, it was out of greed. (as I read it, NOT directed by Trump)

Whatever Cohen was peddling Mueller wasn’t buying. How can you use the testimony of a man who has no concept of what the truth is to begin with? Who is a known liar? Any evidence Cohen could give would be tainted.

The word that comes to mind is ‘Hapless’.
It seems everything negative happens to him and not to other people. He got some bad advice. Mike’s father was one who encouraged him to start talking, and separating himself from the president. When I saw photos of Mike Cohen casually speaking with Avenatti, I knew this guy was naive and about to start singing. There are some people who have lots of natural abilities, but very little common sense about power.
Having a Billionaire client who is now President has advantages. If this moron had just shut up he probably would have not only have received a pardon but after the Republicans liberate the House in 2020 would have got compensation which reelected President Trump would have signed.
Neither did Flynn. But Flynn is military and they always protect their own. Flynn also did not cooperate. Cohen is unprincipled scum.
Per Brett Baier: Mueller isn’t asking for heavy jail time. It’s the NY southern district that’s asking for more time because of the Stormy Daniel’s thing. That’s how they are trying to get Trump.
