what I heard was 42 months, $500K forfeiture penalty and a fine to be determined. Since the campaign finance violation was made via fraudulent invoicing, I don’t know how that fits into the sentencing. Seems a mix of civil and criminal on that? Legal beagles?

The special counsel’s reason for being is 3 fold:
1) Embroil the Trump administration with indictments-scandals with the ultimate goal of toppling(impeachment-resignation)
2) Use the special counsel to bury the mountain of high crime evidence against Hillary & the O’muslim regime. High crimes and HIGH TREASON.
3) Show the people what happens if you want to go to work for the Trump administration...You’ll be crucified by the propaganda press and indicted by a soviet-style special counsel. Your house raided in the dark of the night by the goose-steppers of the FBI.
Basically, Trump has held the door open for pardoning various people, except for Cohen, from the beginning. So Cohen thought he could snuggle up to the snake and charm his way out.
He didn’t.
Agree, and I’ll bet Cohen tried using non-collusion nothings to try to get out of his taxi medallion and other unrelated crooked deals and Mueller wouldn’t go for it.
Cohen “out of greed” arranged the payments to the girls and then submitted fraudulent invoicing under a non-existent retainer agreement. He also proposed and capitalized on other deals to other people in an attempt to monetize his relationship with the president-elect (to the tune of $4MM in pocket). Not a chance in hell frozen over that Trump would pardon him knowing all this. Bloodsucking backstabbers are scum of the earth - especially ones who’s actions opened the door to creepy porn lawyers.
Maybe Cohen purjered himself. The benefit of giving answers in writing is that is affords the person answering the opportunity to reach back for documentation to support their testamonu.

Mueller did not recommend that. The Southern District of New York did. Mueller did not recommend a specific time. They are two different filings.

Sorry. I confused recent news about Flynn with the Cohen case. In my opinion, none of them should have been treated worse than anyone else involved in such cases.
Michael Cohen has revealed himself to be so unprincipled that he is in the same league as Michael Avenatti. What is it with these high-priced lawyers? They give all lawyers a bad name.
Just what I said, he gave them everything they wanted and they’ll still screw him. There is no reason EVER to talk to the FBI.
