Where are you two going?
Think about it. Are we being our best? Or are we just being passive, hoping our elected officials will restore freedom?
The post is long and admittedly I quickly scanned it. Nevertheless, I did not see where this guy is relocating to for his new found freedom. Anyone know?
So....where did he move to?
A 12 year old has a tantrum about a system he doesn’t understand.
Got it.
Modern capitalism is not described by economic theory. It is described by chaos theory — which does not mean it is chaotic, it means it is a complex system.
Both pertain in different ways to different degrees.
>>So....where did he move to?<<
Based on the article I would say he moved to a place with 1 product with 1 producer and 1 consumer.
He is going on a 90 mile sail. Quite dramatic. I have sailed farther on a weekend. Pathetic.
>>Both pertain in different ways to different degrees.<<
and are beyond the understanding of the author.
I could make an argument that economic theory is a subset of chaos theory but it is before 8 AM on a Monday of a short week. I just can’t do it ;)
” liberal encroachment on traditional American values under President Obama”
then why didn’t they leave under obama years? Trump now president. What has this ranter done to stop the problems? Ranter is a wimp, stand and fight. Running away resolves nothing because you take your cowardliness with you and situation will arise some time again.
Insofar as much of economic theory was pretty much the original case and argument made for the principles of chaos theory—far before “chaos theory” was more broadly identified, I’m not so sure I would try to diminish its insights or importance.
Isn’t that cute. Another 22 year old figures out that the world is not run by Mr. Rogers. And all us ex-hippies everywhere rejoice.
May I suggest moving to Haiti, or perhaps Mexico. Maybe Columbia or France. ;)
The best suggestion would be to read the bible. Start with Genesis. You’ll get a feel for what’s going on in this age.
All the best!
A boat.
Hope he doesn’t need a dentist, or doctor, or someone that can tell him how to grow food.
I could make an argument that economic theory is a subset of childrens’ fables.
Unless this guy finds some island/reef in the Pacific, with less than ten people on it...I don’t see him resolving his ‘search’.
I’ll admit to faults in the US system, but when you start traveling (I’ve been to 20-plus countries in my life), you just don’t find that many with all the pluses that exist in the US.
Best wishes to whoever.
Does he understand that living on a boat in the Caribbean can be very dangerous with evil people with guns out to kill you and take all you have?
That if he has a weapon on board there are many ports (if not most) where he cannot enter? Or if he does enter, he can have his weapons seized and be jailed by another nation that exerts even more control than ours?
My uncle lived on his sailboat in the Caribbean in the ‘80’s and was well-armed, before both the bad guys increased and the nations outlawed on-board weapons in ports......most of the US is still the safest place on the planet.......
