The Senate Judiciary Committee hears testimony from Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Professor Christine Blasey Ford about her allegations that Judge Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were teenagers.
So public opinion and our reaction to 9hours of televised farce doesn't matter, in your opinion? Then why tell or show us anything of such a pivate event?
I can assure you public opinion DOES matter to those ELECTED Republicans in the Senate in whose hands this nomination rests!
I promise you they are hearing from the unimportant public that elected them!
Do you not get that the 'public doesn't matter' attitude is what caused the groundswell of dismissed Americans who elected Donald Trump? We sure as hell DO matter and the Senate Republicans had best remember that President Trump represents MILLIONS!

As I recall, her mother chose to take the side of her husband. I assumed that she believed her daughter had encouraged her husband...which was definitely not the case. It's sad when you can't even count on the one person you'd think would have your back...but it happens unfortunately.
When I posted this link, I knew she’d be big. We had some big ones during the presidential campaign rallys. they wre typically running 1800 to 2000 each time.
This one took off running out of the gate. You couldn’t keep up with it. You’d post, and by the time it appeared 25 others had posted after you.
It’s still running even though it’s off the side bar.
Today’s events seem to be even more revealing.
I sure liked the commentary. Was very comforting for me that there are so many like minded people out there, with a few exceptions.

Kavanaugh was the symbol of who-knows-how-many boys and eventually men who used her, individually or in a group. All by her choice at the time. She has lived with it by blaming the men, boys at the time. Kavanaugh was the symbol and so she feels justified in lying about him in revenge for the actions she refuses to take responsibility for.

Many at FR have noted and I have also just remembered that as we get closer to elections, Graham becomes more conservative. Then after that, he is back to his old McCain self.

His crying was genuine but it sure seemed odd to me. I guess because my reaction to attack runs more towards rage and vengeance and heads on stakes.
But then I remember Senator Muskie crying way back in the 1972 race when he was barraged by accusations aimed at his wife. Muskie wasn’t anybody’s idea of a wimp, but the crying hurt his campaign.
Yeah— we have a joke in our neck of the South.... “Soy Boys”... used to describe the overeaters of soy and its feminizing hormonal properties— documented. One more reason to avoid processed industrial foods and .... eat venison, wild free range! Or if not- then organic non hormonal non-soy fed (and also should add— not ground up dead chicken carcasses, dried— cause that is done also and contains.... chicken hormones.... sheesh).
