SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Michigan gym patron looking for a WiFi connection found one named “remote detonator,” prompting an evacuation and precautionary search of the facility by a bomb-sniffing dog.

"...remote detonator..."

That is a person with a wry sense of humor. Very funny.
They could have made it more authentic with some misspellings. :-).

Mine is “DEA Surveillance Van”, but I will admit I like “remote detonator”. My car has it’s own WiFi, so I might change it to “remote detonator”. I know, I am being childish. ;>)

Anyone who panics over an SSID shouldn’t be in a position to panic anyone else.

Sheesh.

I name my SSID “Unavailable” because it is.

If I had one that actually WAS a ‘remote detonator’, I’d name it “Fluffy Bunny”.

I’ve seen “virus repository” and “(local girl’s name) porn pics” as Wi-Fi names.
