I’m guessing adult stem cells (as the early trials with fetal stem cells produced horrifying results).
As someone with a close friend suffering from MS, I sure hope they fast track this. Every annual visit to check progression is a nerve-wracking experience for all involved.
My mom had something similar done. She’s had the relapsing form for 20+ years.
After the other medicines stopped working, she went to the chemo drugs.
She’s completely in remission now.
It’s amazing. We didn’t think she’d still be around...and she has no symptoms.
:))))
It’s no dream, it’s true A.F.
First, you have to have the “right” kind of MS, RRMS, relapsing remitting MS for this treatment to apply. There are three other kinds, the last time I looked, which may actually really be different diseases having different underlying mechanisms and would not respond to this “cure”.
A decade ago I was screened for PPMS, primary progressive MS, a late-onset MS that tends to hit older males and is slow moving. It is often diagnosed “only on autopsy.” I have been taking 40 mg of baclofen daily for 10 years to preserve my ability to move without “spasticity,” a symptom that all MS sufferers are familiar with.

The patients received either haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) or drug treatment.

Not that long ago the Democrats and their crooked media told us the only way to get these cures was to kill babies.
Thanks for the article. The results look promising.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has been shown in clinical trials to be of significant benefit. Of course that has been suppressed as is detailed in the excellent book: “OXYGEN and the BRAIN”.
I’ve read about this experimental treatment before. What most article don’t mention is that the protocol is not suitable for everyone with MS. For some the severity of the side effects make it not feasible.

My late neurologist was involved in the research and development studies of a drug for the primary progressive form of MS. It was approved for trials by FDA shortly before he died.
“will soon be recognised as an established treatment in England - and when that happens our priority will be making sure those who could benefit can actually get it”.
If they can survive long enough on the NHS wait lists.
good news
Insanity. Chemo? Ridiculous. The answer lies in supplements, as my sister has used to keep her MS at bay for 8 years.
Janice Dean, the weather machine on Fox in the mornings is suffering from the disease.
The left will use this as an excuse for more baby killing. We need to respond with encouraging cord blood donations, as many fetal stem cells are present in it.
