Insanity. Chemo? Ridiculous. The answer lies in supplements, as my sister has used to keep her MS at bay for 8 years.
Janice Dean, the weather machine on Fox in the mornings is suffering from the disease.
Yeah, the possibles are very serious. Up to and including liver shutdown and death. When my mom first did the treatment, risk of adverse effects was somewhere around 30%.
It was worth the risk to her tho...and it worked. She’s had to repeat the treatment I believe 3 times over a few years. Like 3-5 day sessions in a chair taking a chemo drip, and the other goodies.
“The answer lies in supplements, as my sister has used to keep her MS at bay for 8 years”
100% agree with that based on experience.
Strongly suggest getting “Oxygen and the BRAIN” It’s pricey but invaluable info for anyone with MS or other disorder. It makes clear the significant benefit of hyperbaric oxygen.
Chemo kills off the immune system...and the stem cells repair it correctly.
They want fetal stem cells so as to justify abortion.
The “journalists” who write these stories always conveniently neglect to mention which type of stem cells they’re talking about.
On the Planned Parenthood payroll, no doubt.
The left will use this as an excuse for more baby killing. We need to respond with encouraging cord blood donations, as many fetal stem cells are present in it.
I have a family member on it.
So far after two years, no real results.
She has been stuck at home for almost 2 years, unable to leave for fear of infection.
Only close family members are able to interact with her.
I suspect they would not consider me a good candidate&2 years old, relapsing definitely since 1992 and probably since 1989.) My meds are $5000+ a month, so if they had found this procedure more than 20 years ago, it would have been feasible and cost effective. C’est la vie.
You should ask about it at least get some info.
Yep...her med bills were way out of control to with tysabri and all the other medications she went through. All those other ones stopped working for her, this was really the last choice.
I am very glad to read that it worked for your mom. She must be a very informed patient. Many people just figure doctor knows best and don’t fully discuss treatment.
Autologous vs. Allogenic Stem Cell Transplants: Whats the Difference?
http://blog.dana-farber.org/insight/2017/03/autologous-vs-allogenic-stem-cell-transplants-whats-the-difference/
[snip] An autologous transplant uses a persons own stem cells. In this procedure, stem cells are collected from the patient and frozen in liquid nitrogen before transplant conditioning... An allogeneic transplant uses stem cells from a donor whose human leukocyte antigens (HLA) are acceptable matches to the patient’s... There are two types of allogeneic transplants. In a myeloablative transplant, large doses of chemotherapy or a combination of chemotherapy and radiation are used to overcome resistance and eradicate a patients malignancy. In a reduced-intensity allogeneic transplant, doctors suppress the recipients immune system enough so the donor stem cells can take root, or engraft, there. The intensity of the therapy is insufficient to eradicate the malignancy, so this form of transplantation depends on the immunologic recognition of the cancer by the immune system of the donor. This is called the graft-versus-tumor effect. [/snip]
