Yeah, the possibles are very serious. Up to and including liver shutdown and death. When my mom first did the treatment, risk of adverse effects was somewhere around 30%.

It was worth the risk to her tho...and it worked. She’s had to repeat the treatment I believe 3 times over a few years. Like 3-5 day sessions in a chair taking a chemo drip, and the other goodies.

I am very glad to read that it worked for your mom. She must be a very informed patient. Many people just figure doctor knows best and don’t fully discuss treatment.
