How Could Anyone Hate the Globalists?
TakiMag ^ | 3/12/18 | Jim Goad

If you oppose globalism in any way, you must be some kind of Nazi.

At least that’s the message I’m getting from the slavishly pro-globalist press.

It’s long been my suspicion that this extended, cringeworthy, and now years-long display of wantonly reckless public diaper-shitting known as “The Resistance” to Donald Trump—which has tweaked the dial all the way up to Full Screech Mode ever since he declared his candidacy in June of 2015—is nothing more than a full-on panic attack by global elites whose hegemonic grip over American affairs is finally being threatened by a politician who’s too headstrong, and fundamentally too much of a dick, to humbly take orders from anyone, no matter how powerful they are.

“Identity Politics” is the politics of globalism. It’s why the democrats now completely neglect the economy => America and Western Civilization have had it too good for too long.

I’m a globalist, as long as the definition is universal submission to Jesus Christ. I don’t see any “globalist” fighting for that goal, though...

How could anyone NOT hate the globalists?

Exactly. Globalism is a corrupt bargain between poltical elites. 3rd World elites get to export their problem citizens to avoid making any changes at home. Leftists get a mass of ignorant easy to manipulate voters and GOP-E gets a mass of cheap labor for their donors. And they stick the US Taxpayer with the bills to pay for all the ills it brings.

Interesting graphic. I recall early tv days, like 1952, when there was a lot of dead air time filled up with what we now call Public Service announcements, many devoted to the peace theme so shortly after WWII. A graphic very like this friendly orb on the left was used, with a jingle about everyone getting along together. This shit started a long time ago. Be not deceived.

That's about as good a summary of the political consensus among the elites as I've seen. Moreover, it cuts across party lines most of the time: Democrats and (most) Republicans are in on the deal here, Labour and Tories in the UK, Christian Democrats and Christian Socialists in Germany. In order to make it in the political establishment and in elite society, you have to subscribe to the social/economic model summarized in your paragraph.

I bought and read Goad's The Redneck Manifesto many years ago. It was a great defense of America's most abused ethnic group, though it suffered from obscenity and atheism (as well as Goad's anti-Federalist, pro-Arab, and pro-Irish prejudices).

In that book he claimed not to be a right winger. I guess things have changed.

I really see no need for an atheist to have ideals of any kind, though.

Jim Goad is one of the funniest and most insightful op-ed writers around, IMO.

I wouldn't characterize his Mideast views as "Pro-Arab," Goad has repeatedly stated that he just doesn't really care about the Middle East. I'm not sure what you mean about his being Pro-Irish, apart from the fact that most of the white slavery/indentured servitude that he talks about in The Redneck Manifesto is "Irish" in the wider sense (including Scots-Irish).

You're correct about Goad being closer to the nationalist right today than before. In his early writing, he was sort of an apolitical (or, more accurately, anti-political) curmudgeon. As for why he has "ideals," his writing isn't so much about ideals as it is about self-preservation, i.e. not allowing leftist agitators and militant racialist non-whites walk all over him.
