PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – It’s not a bizarre prank, and it’s not a mistake, some McDonald’s locations are reportedly flipping their golden arches upside down to make an unprecedented statement.
Business Insider reports that McDonald’s is turning their arches upside-down in “celebration of women everywhere” to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Photos from Lynwood, California already show one McDonald’s restaurant with their “M” turned into a “W.”

BTW, your alleged "food"? I'm rarely THAT hungry, and without optionsI ate at a McDonalds last week. Only as a last resort. The Big Mac was ghastly. The recent experience served as a reminder why I typically avoid them.

Remove the McDonald's portion and you'd have a neon replacement for the Rohrsach test.
If comments on this thread are half-way representative of the population, the outliers who thought this up--to commemorate International Women's Day?--will have egg McMuffin on their face. And ďeserving it.
Can't wait to see how this inverted logo scheme will be treated in the Onion. Or Mad, if it's still published.

Insanity. All the MCd’s in the world now have to do penance for having that evil M symbol, with M for the evil, reviled male. Free burgers for women, and men pay double.

We were driving back to Texas from California 2013, stopped at Mcdonald’s, had burger, fries, Coke. The “meat” on the burger was slimy and gray. Didn’t eat it. Fries were soggy. Coke was ok. Never went back. Have had bad meals at Burger King, Whataburger, and Dairy Queen. In n Out Burger is always good.

Happy international women’s day!!!!! That’s all it means. Celebrate all women and different cultures. You can order McDonald’s pretty much everywhere. I think many here only think McDonald’s is located in America. Lol.
