With Fealty to Frailty, the Federalist Party of America Launches
National Review ^ | Feb. 15, 2018 | William F. B. O'reilly

A new political party is rolling out in America. It’s tiny, unfunded, understaffed, and it’s not really a party at all, at least not yet.

Sounds promising — right?

There’s more. Its name is stodgy, akin to blowing dust from an old tome in a Philadelphia attic: the Federalist Party of America. What’s next? Powdered wigs?

And if the party ever draws real breath, everyone who’s anyone in Washington will try to strangle it in its crib.

How can it miss?

Constitution Party redux? Anyone familiar with where it stands on conservative issues? The fact they mention trying to appeal to Dems as well as Pubbies makes me suspicious

It’s nothing more than yet another means being set up to further split the vote to help insure ‘RAT VICTORY in a given election.

If the Federalist Party can keep out the crooks like Juan McCain, BO’B and HRC, Mittens, Bushes, trees, and others in the same cabal, give US term limits, balanced budgets....then these ears would be opened ready to hear more. Bring out the big guns with valid solutions.

Yep. That's what we need. We really need for the Republican and Democrat Parties to remain the only parties ever again for the entire future of America.

Because if any other party is started up that has good candidates or good ideas that appeal to conservatives, then it will split the vote.

Then instead of going off the cliff in a decade or so, we can stand back while the Pubbies push America off the cliff in twenty years.

Brilliant!

It’s another effort by rich northeastern “republicans” to have a party based on academic thought pieces rather than real life

They would not have voted Trump

I wish wisdom to those who name it. “Federalist” might as well be Greek to most people. “Federal” is even a misnomer. It is an entity that sprang into practical existence with the Civil War. I struggle for a name. But someone will need to find a good one. Associative?

Who wants to divide the vote? Dems and Globalists.
Unity is essential or the USA is toast.

As we’re so fond of saying: Keep making that same mistake until a different solution is found. We’ve made this same mistake and rather than finding the RIGHT solution, we’ve done nothing but speed in reverse. If we don’t change NOW, we’ll have far less time to change later. SOMETHING isn’t working. FIND it, FIX it, and MAKE IT BETTER. Surely all those highly educated minds across these fruited plains can knock heads together and THINK.

Bring GOD back into our lives, schools, town squares.
STOP berating families, parents.
GIVE proper respect if your children’s educators are performing in giving YOUR children a solid foundation on which to build a meaningful, productive life.
Check your attitude.
Show common courtesy.

“They would not have voted Trump”

And, what makes you think they did?
Because he won?
Why did he win?
Because of his charm, money, name?
Or, perhaps because he was speaking WITH WTP, America and actually HEARD US and our grievances.

The incorrect link is a substantial corollary with the Federalist issue. The Russians seek division. Our current 2 party system is one of division. To the extent Russia supported Trump it was because Hillary was the expected victor. It was not Russia that got Trump elected. It was Hillary’s stupidity and Trump’s genius.
More specifically it was Trump’s patriotism and Hillary’s contempt for America that resulted in Trump’s victory and his, to date, brilliant presidency.
The Russians primary influence has been to support the divisiveness promulgated by Soros and the Democrat party. They have been most effective since Trump’s victory.

“The Russians primary influence has been to support the divisiveness promulgated by Soros and the Democrat party.”

Agree, the two party system is strong on division. A mixture of the two would not/could never jell. Our congress would be the OK Corral with boots, hats and chairs flying across the room. The two party system, at one time did work but now WTP realize that they have merged (WTP call them the UNIPARTY; do we not?) They still have their differences but basically they have forgotten why they are there and how long they should be there. Thinking only of themselves and their benefactors, WTP are completely forgotten.

BTW do believe it was read this evening that SOROS may have to slim back some on his doling of dollars. Seems the cash has gone cold.

I hate to be pessimistic but the only party we have is GOP. We are weak as a Conservative base to start another. It makes me sick.

Trump is the first HUGE step in reforming the Republican party. Trump is no GOP swamp rat and he ran as a Republican, not as a 3rd party candidate. And won. And his presence will have a lasting effect on the future of the Republican party. Everyone knows a 3rd party will split the vote and hand the Marxists a win everytime. People are gonna demand more Trump-like Republican candidates. I think mainstream conservatives all over the nation feel disdain for the GOP crop we’ve been stuck with for the past 30 years.

A better way to “fix” the system would be to eliminate one of the two parties in existance now. Say, democrat, RICO and prosecute the leadership, including Soros and the clintoons into jail and oblivian. There would than be a place, a vacumn to be filled.

Another strategy is to try and split the liberal vote by voting Green.

For those of us who live in solid blue states it might make more sense to try and split the Dem vote then add to the meager GOP vote.

I've advocated this in the past, but I think it mostly falls on deaf ears:

1. Not enough people care enough to vote strategically
2. Some people think it is immoral to vote strategically
3. Some people think it is immoral to vote for particular parties such as the Green Party because they are pro-aborts, etc.
4. Some people are just dyed-in-the-wool Pubbies. They're almost as rabid (and unthinking) as sports fans.
5. Some people are afraid it will backfire

I re-registered as Dem since I live in Cali and was able to vote against the Hildebeast twice: once by voting for Bernie and once by voting for Trump.

So regardless of the fecklessness of my vote, it did bring me great personal satisfaction.

I'm writing these people off as a total loss until they can at least come up with a website that doesn't look like a virus. (Nothing but executable content. WordPress. No thanks.)
