As net closes on Hillary’s mishandling of classified info, disturbing question arises about Trump

If there’s one thing I despise about politics today, it’s the very apparent double standard when it comes to the word “justice.”

As reported by the Washington Examiner, “President Trump tweeted Tuesday there’s a double standard in the government’s treatment of Hillary Clinton and her aide Huma Abedin, pointing to Kristian Saucier, a former Navy sailor jailed for taking six photos inside a submarine.

Petty Officer Saucier served 11 years in the U.S. Navy aboard a nuclear submarine. He plead guilty to the accused offense, he never attempted to shirk responsibility and accepted being held accountable.

Now, President Trump invokes Saucier in tweets, but what keeps Trump from doing the honorable thing and pardoning Saucier and restoring his record? Why is it that this young man has had his life completely ruined, yet folks like Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin go untouched – as a matter of fact, Clinton traipses about the globe on speaking engagements and writing books? Can President Trump be so calloused as to use this young man as a political prop and not take the simple act of pardoning him, which he did for Sheriff Joe Arpaio?

West is simply wrong on this one. It’s allowed.

In the military, not following rules can get people killed and it weakens our nations defenses. Photographs inside a sub may seem harmless to the average civilian but could reveal technology to our adversaries.

What Petty Officer Saucier did was wrong. What Hillary Clinton did was far worse, this none the less does not excuse what the Petty Officer did. As a 12 year member of the Navy, he should have know better and I am sure he had ample training in regards to naval security.

I live on in hopes that one day Hillary Clinton and others will be held to account for their treasonous acts.

I’m sorry he has this on his record, but he made his choices.

I agree 100%

Thanks. And if you think about it, if you don’t prosecute these cases, security is non-existent.

You have to do it.

It would represent a double standard if he pardoned this guy and didn’t later pardon Hillary. If we want a prosecution of Hillary, then it would be counterproductive to issue a pardon for Saucier. He broke the law. He served his sentence. If Hillary skates, then this guy should be pardoned. But if Trump pardons him, then that gives ammunition to letting Hillary walk.

Rather than pardon Saucier they should go after Hillary.

And she should be penalized at least a hundred times the value of his sentence.

Hillary should be prosecuted and penalized based on the law just like anyone else. Blind justice. Neither harsher nor easier.

Who said anything about that?

She easily committed 100 times as much criminal activity...At least!

President Trump is not saying he was treated unfairly, just that there is a double standard. He knew what he was doing was not only illegal but quite wrong. We really do not know what his real motivation was for taking those pictures.

Maybe he isn’t issuing a pardon because then he’d have to do the same if Hillary gets indicted.

Boy that would sure confuse the drive bys if Trump pardoned Hillary. It'd piss us all off but just playing the scenario through my noggin. Kinda of funny.

That's what I was thinking too. He wants to keep the door open for Mrs. Bill Clinton going to jail.

Aren’t we all tired of the “he said, she said” accusations? Chase one point till it proves yes or no instead of mixing in two issues. First it’s Hitlary problems but countered with possible Trump issues. One thing at a time, then move on to the next.

Can you pardon someone if they are not proven to have committed a crime? Unfortunately Hitlary has not yet been charged...there’s still time.

The high-paid Clintonistas are like 4-headed aliens from outer space:

<><>one head in govt,

<><>one head in the Clinton Foundation,

<><>one head soaking up govt intel,

<><>another head inhaling tax dollars.

They Clintonistas romped all over the State Dept like it was their personal playground grabbing at dollar opportunities. Huma had four jobs....Cheryl Mills flitted in and out of the Foundation...as did other Clinton factotums.

When did they ever do any actual govt work?

The Clinton suck-ups are not content w/ six-figure govt salaries, expense accounts, housing and clothing allowances and free travel.

Sucking off the backs of hard-working taxpayers is the name of the Clinton game. The opportunistic Clintons grab anything that isn't nailed down. They became multi-billionaires overnight selling off US ntl security to the highest bidder.

The Clintons are lying in wait to duplicate the State Dept heist in the WH. They have an army of workers ready and waiting at the infamous foundation. All of them salivating over the prospect of high-pay govt jobs and endless pensions and perks under a prez Clinton (gag).

Unfortunately for the sailor, yes.

But if others go unpunished because of politics we may as well let everyone go with time served.
