Several establishment Republicans cheered as the Alabama Senate Republican candidate Judge Roy Moore lost to his Democratic opponent Doug Jones.
Here are some of the establishment Republicans who praised Roy Moore’s loss in the Alabama Senate race on Tuesday:
National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Chairman Cory Gardner (R-CO) said in a statement, “Tonight’s results are clear – the people of Alabama deemed Roy Moore unfit to serve in the U.S. Senate. I hope Senator-elect Doug Jones will do the right thing and truly represent Alabama by choosing to vote with the Senate Republican Majority.”

Both major parties wanted him gone and he lost by a very little.
Given both major parties are the ones counting the votes, and given they found a ton of pre-printed votes for Jones not a few days before, I’m more willing to believe both parties worked to ensure he lost, even if he had more votes last night.
Exactly. The Democrats have WAY MORE loyalty to their party than these Republicans that are perfectly happy watching the country burn to the ground from their lofty perches on the moral high ground.
I also believe the fix was in on this one.Jut a ggut sense that all was not right yesterday.
I do remember some black guy was in the news for signing up people from other states to vote in this election.

Agree. Who believes the narrative will not be repeated for whoever runs on the Republican ticket in the future. Just too convenient that 40 year old allegations that can’t be refuted comes out that close to an election. Could the Dems be involved??? Or did this come from the “never Trumpers like Mc turdle?
My first vote was ‘68 and I’ve never voted for a demonrat.
