I will tell you now. If Roy Moore loses this election we can blame conservative who fell for the lies of the Wash Post and Trump for not coming out sooner, or for campaigning in Alabama.
T told everyone what to expect, yet no one paid attention. On October 10 I posted this, I'm Sending Money To Support Roy Moore For The US Senate, How About You?.
I warned you then what to expect, and many ignored my warning. Ar the time, little did I know how they would try to bring Moore down, yet I told you that the Republican establishment would do all they could to help the Democrats stop him from winning Jeff sessions seat. By the way, why did Sessions never campaign for Moore? because he is part of the swamp as we all know now.
Call me crazy, or accuse me of being a Jesus Freak. I could care less, but since I joined in 1998, Freepers have been more inclined to support the status quo of Establishment types over God fearing Christians.
Don't believe me? just look how many Freepers attack hard core Christians when they run against establishment type republicans.
Yes, I also blame Trump, Cruz, and other Christian conservatives who refused to come to Moores defense when we all knew the attacks were just false smear attacks. We stood behind Trump, yet he payed Christians back by supporting a Rino. Then he waited way too long to support the man God wanted.
If the electronic machines in AL are like those in your home state there is ZERO paper trail to those machine totals.
You have NO idea if the button you punched actually registered as a vote for your candidate. Zero idea.
Sorry, if I am known fir speaking my mind. I am not 100% right, but I am seldom Wrong.
Trust me, the GOP E wanted to lose this election so that they would lose the Senate next year and stop Trump
As a non political guy Trump bought their hair hook line and sinker
Why do you think the establishment stays in power?
They screwed Reagan, now they screwed Trump
Then why did he wait till the weekend before the election and do his rally fir Moore n another state?
Then all those machine totals should be thrown out in the recount, counting only paper ballots and unchallenged absentee ballots.
LOL.
Welcome to the Mississippi 2014 senate vote count.
Uniparty/Deep State didn’t just start playing the game this season. Nor is their bench one fanny deep for national races.
Is there going to be anything left of the country by the time you figure out the truth? You by everything the mainstream media says and they are lying to you.
Can you compare vote totals to registrations
Which shows you nothing.
There is no party registration in MS.
So long as the vote totals match the ‘voted’ lists they’re kosher. No way to find out if your vote really counted for your candidate or was credited to the other one.
I only voted in ‘16 because hubby asked me to. No paper trail at my voting precinct at all. But we got ice cream while we were in town so there’s that.
Don’t feed the trolls. This poster is making ridiculous arguments. Trump cares about appeasing the establishment?! this statement alone disqualifies this poster from serious consideration.
In life
Ice Cream matters
I’m thinking Seale Lily...
Blue Bunny ‘Bunny Tracks’ with the little peanut butter filled chocolate bunnies.
>> Now, we dont have either a Senate seat or an Attorney General.
Yup, and I liked Sessions as a Senator. I contributed to his campaigns despite being from NY.
Strange is the corruptocrat Trump supported in the first place. Mo Brooks wold have been the best choice. I like Moore, not perfect but Trump called him unelectable. Why? Maybe the gop were the ones paying WaPo and his accusers.
Since they haven’t completed one inch of the wall and raised my taxes by more spending I hope the the top is done.
They spend like democrats, vote like democrats.
No wall should equal no votes.
I think No Brooks would have been a better choice. Trump came out against Moore in the primaries, calling him unelectable. I would not be surprised if the gop wasn’t paying the accusers. What did they know? His statement clearly indicated they were going into full swamp mode.
Well now they can move on with their tax and spend plan, never build one inch of the wal, and keep funding obamacare.
Lets the gop off the hook for everything conservative and Constitutional.
Is it possible for Moore’s defeat to be the seed of something Good? Or is it the swamp filling we think it is?
I would say the tinkering is a real possibility.
I am finished with politics forever.
Well now there is a “final solution” if I ever saw one.
A permanent fix to a temporary problem.
An opus if I ever saw one.
...and maybe throw in some “I told you so”.
...which would also beg a large dose of arrogance.
...and one thing is for damned sure, this post is like no other I have ever seen from a member of the class of ‘98.
...or maybe I just haven’t seen enough, but it all begs the question, are you done with FreeRepublic?
Why was Moore a flawed candidate?
You’re finished with politics forever? For crying out loud, are you from Alabama? Word has it that Moore didn’t campaign very hard, left Alabama for the last two days of the election, and sat down with a 12-year-old girl for an interview. Not too bright. Trump himself backed Strange, not Moore in the primary, and said that Moore, who had lost two previous state-wide elections, would have a hard time winning in the general election.
The Rosetta Stone of politics in 2017-2018 is that the elected Republicans in DC want Trump removed without having to face the electorate with their fingerprints all over it, and, failing that, want him to be widely perceived to be a failure.
It’s not the “demonrats”, it has almost nothing to do with them. They have the good fortune to have the GOP doing their dirty work for them, but that’s all.
Nominating Roy Moore was stupid, but I don’t live in Alabama and I certainly wasn’t about to advise them what to do. Moore got 38.9% of the GOP votes in the primary and 54.6% of the GOP votes in the runoff, and, just as has been the case in Delaware, in Alaska, in Nevada, and elsewhere, we see that when our guy wins the Republican nomination by a plurality, lots of GOP voters on the losing end either stay home, vote for the Democrat, or participate in a write-in protest.
In this case, the sitting Republican US Senator from Alabama actively opposed Moore and announced that he himself cast a write-in ballot. Since the number of write-ins exceeded Jones’ margin of victory, once again it was Republican opposition to MAGA that turned the tide.
Trump must be a soothsayer because it turned out Moore was unelectable.
