Longtime Michigan Rep. John Conyers has told The Associated Press that he hasn’t settled any sexual harassment complaints with any staff members.
Conyers, who answered the door at his Detroit home Tuesday morning, says he knows nothing about any claims of inappropriate touching and learned of the story just hours earlier.
Referring to allegations of sexual harassment and assault being made against politicians and others, the veteran lawmaker says he’s “been looking at these things with amazement.”

And when it burns hot enough it’s likely to destroy this secret settlement mechanism and it’s all going to be brought out into the sunshine in the future. No slush fund, no mandated confidentiality agreements, and not pretense that the member didn’t know what was going on.
Secret agreements do nothing to expose the evil for the protection of future victims.

He’s no doubt one of the congressmen who has his dementia drugs delivered to him at work. Of course, he doesn’t remember doing such a thing. Works for most dems! He probably doesn’t even remember taking medication for his condition. I believe he is the one who has been in the House the longest - time for him to GO!

The Democrats threw out the sexual harrasment net on Judge Moore hoping eventually to get the president. Instead they ended up ensnaring their whole party in it. This is hilarious. Conyers has no choice but to go to the race card to save himself. I think we’re all gonna run out of popcorn at this pace!
