Longtime Michigan Rep. John Conyers has told The Associated Press that he hasn’t settled any sexual harassment complaints with any staff members.

Conyers, who answered the door at his Detroit home Tuesday morning, says he knows nothing about any claims of inappropriate touching and learned of the story just hours earlier.

Referring to allegations of sexual harassment and assault being made against politicians and others, the veteran lawmaker says he’s “been looking at these things with amazement.”

It was his evil twin.

Conyers is using Bill Clinton’s successful strategy: “Deny, deny, deny.”
It has always worked for Democrats.

He hasn’t settled any claims. An arbitrator did, including a joint non disclosure. And settled it with our wages.

We need to drag out James Carville for some witty prose.

Sure, he didn’t settle - his attorney settled for him using US taxpayer money.

He must have forgot.

I’ve watched this idiot in hearings. He reads (barely) all the questions, with no reaction regardless of the answers.

He’s a dottering old fool, so he may not remember what he had today for breakfast.

Well Johnny, why don’t we just make all of the so called Congressional slush fund information available to the public and we can make up our own minds what happened. You wouldn’t be adverse to that now would you?

There must have been a check written. Who wrote the check - what do they say?

There must have been a check cashed. Where is the canceled check?

I also read there were Non-Disclosure Agreements for all of the $15M payouts. Who wrote & who signed the agreement? Where is the agreement?

This should be pretty easy to prove.

By the way, if this settlement was $27K and there was $15M paid out, there must be many, many other payouts who can come forward or leak their story.

> was settled by a mediator.
Exactly. HE didn’t settle it, someone else did. And she wasn’t paid from a hush money fund. He “rehired” her and paid her from his budget to “not show up to work” for a few months.

Why would she agree to “work for him” again if he did what she claimed? /sarc

Of course the old horndog is going to lie and deny. The strategy of guilty Rats is always to feign innocence and to lie.

“that he hasn’t settled any sexual harassment complaints with any staff members.”

Perhaps settlement, isn’t the right word. How about paid off, blackmailed, dealt with, bargained, resolution, resolved, there are a number of other words that mean the same and may paint a better picture.

And through out the entire article, he does not say he did not do any of the instances. The AP, a true lying lib news source, just words it in a way to use talk around to make the reader think he did. Typical lib lies, again.

Soooo.....has Paul Ryan verbally chastised him yet?

He was/is always to first to make a public statement against Trump and now Moore. No matter how fake and outrageous the accusations are against them.

I feel like Ryan is part of this story....these perverts have been shielded from the taxpayers with the HELP of Paul Ryan.
