A Marine did something stupid, got caught and they want to crucify him over it. A Marine General did something stupid, got caught and retires with honors and nothing more than a footnote in a legal decision when the conviction gets tossed. That's American justice for you.

What Staff Sgt. Joseph W. Chamblin and the others did was a most auspicious moment, telling the Taliban, the dead enemy was not going to 'paradise' and whatever else might be waiting for them.....it was a message, delivered in a bad light perhaps but the message was delivered...those Marines were there...we weren't.
