By some accounts spreading online, the civil war begins on Saturday, when far-left radicals will gather in America’s streets. The only problem: That’s simply not true.
For weeks, rumors have circulated among conspiratorial conservatives on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and some right-wing news sites that the loose coalition of anti-Trump demonstrators known as “Antifa” are plotting a revolution to begin on Nov. 4. A website called Silence is Consent, citing “sources,” reports that “Antifa … is planning to purge every single Trump voter, Republican, and conservative American in this country… raiding houses, seizing weapons, and causing absolute chaos.”
To be blunt, that’s not true. At all.

“Antifa” is a blanket term for several groups one of which is BAMN which stands for “By Any Means Necessary”.
Bamn spokespeople have gone on record as saying “any means” includes violence.

For weeks Antifa has been making all of the aforementioned threats. The threats were published on social media accounts that are known to belong to Antifa people. It didn't come from made up accounts.

I suspected that nothing was going to come of this and that the protest numbers would be small.
Yea, it was pretty clear. I mean, I’m ready to fight to the death with the Left 100x a day, but if some right wing folks started to call for a revolution to start on a given day, I would pass.
You may be forced to use them some other time.
The “right” wing started a revolution back in June of 2015, so unless you didn’t vote for Trump on Nov. 8, 2016, you were an active participant.

People can now see that these groups are much smaller than they’d like us to believe - especially since the election-season money for paid actors has dried up.
