The acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Friday slammed Gov. Jerry Brown's decision to sign a law making California a sanctuary for illegal immigrants — and threatened "at-large" arrests as a result.
In a statement, acting ICE director Tom Homan said the sanctuary status for those who've committed crimes "will undermine public safety and hinder ICE from performing its federally mandated mission."
"ICE will have no choice but to conduct at-large arrests in local neighborhoods and at worksites, which will inevitably result in additional collateral arrests, instead of focusing on arrests at jails and prisons where transfers are safer for ICE officers and the community," Homan declared.
"ICE will also likely have to detain individuals arrested in California in detention facilities outside of the state, far from any family they may have in California."
. . . But on Friday, Homan said the law will so "negatively impact" ICE's operations in California that ICE may incidentally arrest others who wouldn't have been targeted.

Use the IRS to target the employers ... arrest the illegals and the management... don’t release management until all (large) fines are paid.

Half of our legislature are Beaners now (mostly from Southern California). Surely there are some of their “friends and family” ICE could target and deport. Maybe an ICE raid on the State Legislature would yield some deportables. Go down a couple of levels in the staffing if you have to.

The Democrats cheered when the Federal Courts upheld Obama on immigration. Now, not so much.

This sounds good. This should make the people aware of what a Sanctuary state means and this will hopefully make the people less likely to support such foolishness. These actions should be publicized and vigorously defended in the public sphere.
Arizona passes a law saying that they will enforce federal immigration laws. The courts go into overdrive shooting it down. A governor signs a law in clear violation of federal laws and not a peep.

No need to apologize, Tommy boy. Arresting “collaterals” and “incidentals” and getting them out of Mexifornia is precisely what we want you to do. Then get them out of the country, pronto.
