History proves you cannot appease Marxist/fascist/socialist/globalist totalitarians. They will never be satisfied and will never stop. Trump is absolutely correct. If you allow them to tear down these historical Civil War monuments, then they’ll be coming after Washington and Jefferson next.
In fact, they’ll be coming after the American flag, our national anthem, our Judeo-Christian heritage, the Bible, and anything to do with the founding of this great nation while leaving the institution of slavery intact. And that includes the constitution itself. It did not ban slavery and must therefore be destroyed.
And they will continue destroying monuments, burning books, rewriting history, and fomenting hatred against America and especially against white Christian Americans.
It’s already started on all fronts mentioned in this post. And the weak-kneed “useful idiot” appeasers in the GOPe will go along with it until it’s too late. The left is turning our society upside down and inside out as we speak with godless anti-Christian Marxism, fascism, socialism, globalism, multiculturalism, homosexualism, abortionism, racism against whitey, etc, etc, and the GOP doesn’t give a damn.
They’ve acquiesced and surrendered to the godless Marxist/fascist/globalist/multiculuralist takeover of America and are satisfied that the left will be satisfied with their appeasement, will stop their quest for power and we will have peace in our time.
I was about to ask where is our Churchill? Can't really compare Trump to Churchill, but he is pretty much standing alone in the breach.
Oh, and, obviously, it’s not really about slavery or the poor or the homosexuals or human rights or climate change or multiculturalism or any other cause or excuse. It’s the ages old cause of totalitarian world conquest and domination. Marx/Lenin/Stalin/Hitler, et al, did not dream this world conquest/domination stuff up themselves. It’s a recurring theme all the way back to the beginning of civilization.

Not sure the civil war analogy works because there is no militia, states are under federal oversight, and the GOP is the cowardly lion. More likely, 1930s Berlin.

I fear you are right. I feel the next phase is that all of us will be declared dangerous radical hate groups and immediate disarmament will occur. For the good of everybody you understand... We may be subjected to mass arrests and mass shutdowns of our sites. We may be deemed too dangerous to live. It could happen in a space of very short time just like the Jews of Germany. Make no mistake, they WANT this power and would LOVE to do this to all conservatives.
We are so beyond taxes, regulations, and social security now. Whether we survive or not is the question now.
I believe all this over-the-top rhetoric just galvanizes everyone that voted for him.
I do too. But we had mass scale violence and deaths yet. We will soon. It’s inevitable. Democrats will keep escalating until they get what they want. They feel validated by the MSM and GOPe. All violence will be “blamed” on Trump going forward.
All the efforts of the left are frustrating to watch and hear. But it appears their acts of lunacy continue to turn off Americans.
In fact, I think many people today are rightfully becoming afraid of the left.
Hang on folks, before the mid term elections we are going to see much more violence and lunacy.
