BERKELEY (CBS SF) — A worker at a Berkeley hot dog chain has lost his job after being outed on social media as being one of the Charlottesville white supremacist protesters.

A poster at Berkeley’s Top Dog said that Cole White — who was identified on Twitter — no longer works at the restaurant. White had been a cook at the fast-food restaurant.

something not adding up.

A low skilled worker in the capital of socialism flew out to the west coast to attend a right wing rally.

Not adding up here.

Top Dog is anti-socialist.

They are vehemently libertarian.

They are not like the rest of Berkeley.

What’s really so pathetic is how many people here think the optics of this wasn’t utterly awful by playing stupid.

But then again the tiki boys dont exactly attract the smartest folks.

This is beyond odd. If true, it makes you wonder how many of these so-called neo-Nazis are actually paid actors and false-flag operators. Some of them, no doubt, are just useful idiots. But based on what we know of the Left’s tactics, it wouldn’t surprise me it all if they seeded the crowd with their people to agitate things.

I find it more than a little odd that some fast-food cook from a dive in Berkeley, CA would travel all the way to Virginia for an alleged "right-wing nationalist" demonstration.

I agree. That said, cross country flights are cheap. I found round trips for under $300. I can't imagine they would drive even though gas is cheap these days

The loss of employment technique is what the Soviet Union used against dissidents. Families would starve when the breadwinner lost their job for saying something that was not politically correct. The Left is doing in America what fascist thugs have done throughout history.

... since he was, after all, a slave owner.

Egads! I went to UVM, and a cornerstone was laid by the Marquis de Lafayette, and yep, he owned slaves.

(I watched the period 18th century France tv series "Nicolas Le Floch", and they did have slaves in France.)

Any way, there's a Cincinattus-styled statue of Lafayette on the UVM green.

I'm willing to let bygones by bygones, but I'm abhorred by useful idiots going around wrecking things out of context.

Violation of California law. Section 1102 prohibits firing for political activities outside of workhours.

Forty years ago, when I lived you, Top Dog’s reputation was made by insulting its customers as they ordered, to give the real “New York” flavor. “What’s a matter Mac, you brain damaged? How long does it take you to figure out how to order a hot dog?”

The north started slavery in the USA and abandoned it because they preferred European immigrants during for the industrial revolution.

Actually it was the Brits who, in the beginning, set the standards and called the shots on slavery in the colonies.

The north won the war so they got to write the history.

And the losers got to write the myths.

Yeah, they still do that. You know what you want when they point to you for your order.

The Southside place is always packed, so they try to move things along.

Does seem pretty odd, but i've lived long enough to realize there are quite a lot of odd birds out there.

I think a lot of us are wondering if this was some sort of false flag operation.

Concur with you completely. We will later learn he is a Soros-sponsored event actor portraying a Nazi-sympathizer.

Breitbart or Project Veritas needs to go interview his friends and coworkers to find out if he was a Liberal Troll or a racist kook who lived in Berkeley.

So the left wants to eliminate or control most of what the 1st Amendment protects, free speech, free association, free to assemble.

Slavery was a part of history, I don’t get what they are attempting to do by erasing the past. Seems remembering it and making sure it doesn’t happen again is the way to go. It’s just amusing to me to see the Wahoos, who have long idolized MR JEFFERSON, now confronted with the dilemma of how to deal with him now that he’s in disfavor.

And the losers got to write the myths.

And so did the winners. Much of what the public believes about the Civil War is in fact a "Winner" created Myth. Nobody's heard of the Corwin Amendment, and nobody knows that Lincoln had sent a war fleet to Charleston with orders to attack the Confederates.
