I thought so too, but I actually has a thoracic surgeon admit second hand smoke deaths were not backed up with science. As a group of about 200.. wow we’re in collective shock over the data he cited to back that up.
He then further wowed us by talking about the deadly lung cancers of folks who neither smoked, nor has exposure to second hand smoke.
I always thought smoking increased the size of tumor.. he didn’t speak about that.

Second-hand smoke being a killer has never been proven. Yet this is the argument used to ban privately owned businesses from allowing their customers to smoke. A restaurant or bar is private property that people do not have a right or necessity to patronize. If the owner wants to allow smoking in their establishment they should be able to. Post that it’s a smoking establishment, and if people don’t want to work there or patronize it, they can go to a non-smoking establishment. If you are truly a son of liberty, you should understand that.
Bull shit. Same people and media push smoking bans who promote global warming. My wife has mild to moderate COPD from a 45 year 2 pack a day habit which she quit cold turkey 15 years ago., I smoke a pipe, indoors, and have been doing so for 60’years. No problem for me and wife’s spirometry numbers haven’t changed a bit. And by the way her Dr. Smokes!
If a bar/restaurant wants to allow smoking then don’t go there. But these control freak bastards just can’t tolerate that,

I have no problem with bans inside buildings, no problem with bans outside in areas that are close to or funnel to entrances. To ban smoking outdoors away from buildings is nonsense.
Funny thing is I hear in places marijuana is legal they want to allow marijuana smoking in pot stores, and bakeries that cater to them, some bars. So now we are at the point where people will likely be allowed to smoke pot in places where regular cigarettes have been banned for quite some time. Irony.
however, just go to your local indian casino and see how the smokers behave....they could care less if they blow smoke in your face deliberately and sometimes it seems like they are deliberately obnoxious about their smoking...
Bull cookies. There is NO studies to prove that 2nd hand smoke cause anything more that annoyance. I’ve smoked for 55 years and am very courteous about where and when I smoke, but it is My decision to smoke, not yours.

I gave up cigarettes nearly 30 years ago. But I still don’t care if someone else smokes. Occasional “exposure” to someone else’s smoke poses no hazard.
Let’s ban perfumes. They make me sick. Give me headaches, some kinds cause instant, excruciating cluster type headaches. But people wear that crap everywhere, with no restrictions.
Have we banned peanuts yet? Some people are allergic to them.
We need to ban driving. It’s dangerous to people on bicycles, who are, by the way a hazard to pedestrians. Ban bicycles too!

With that being said, where is your outrage at the number one substance that has been responsible for the break up of families, domestic abuse, job losses and traffic fatalities?
It certainly isn't second hand smoke, it's ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION! So where is your personal demand to ban the sales of alcohol where non drinkers would like to congregate? Such as bars where the smokers have already been banned?
So who ultimately profited from the states wide lawsuits against the tobacco industry Sons of Liberty? It was the fricken lawyers first then the payouts to the states where the monies went into the general fund under the auspices of providing healthcare for the "victims" of the tobacco industry!
