With the jury selection process underway this week for the second Bunkerville Standoff trial in Las Vegas, Attorney General Jeff Sessions was at the federal courthouse today in Las Vegas.
Courtroom observer and wife of one of the defendants on trial for the second time in the case, Andrea Parker, heard Sessions praise the way the prosecution is leading the case and then say he was not taking sides in the case.
Parker said Sessions comments spoke for themselves and to her were an endorsement of the "atrocity" of the prosecution of those accused in the standoff near Bundy Ranch in April 2014.
During this second trial the prosecution called for and the judge areeed to ban any discussion of the First or Second Amendments of the Constitution during the jury selection and trial.
He's hard at work right now trying to resurrect the failed 80s-era D.A.R.E. anti-drug program back from the dead.
I guess he thinks he's a First Lady now or something. That's OK. He's got a lot of free time these days since he handed over the Justice Department back to the Democrats.
Thanks for posting. I follow, though don’t comment.
Hummergummer is really costing FR contributions due to his nasty attitude.
The breaking news is that Sessions was spotted alive. He is a major disappointment.
“Hummergummer is really costing FR contributions due to his nasty attitude”.
You’re exactly right.
Because we know citing amendments to the Constitution is inflammatory and prejudicial. < eyeroll >
If I was on that jury, I'd have t-shirts of the first and second amendments -- verbatim -- printed and worn every damn day of the trial and then dare me to take them off.
Probably a good thing you don’t post since his name is humblegunner. Also you post to the person you’re talking about.

Oops a daisy, triplicate
Yeah, it’s news. Bad news.
Post those numbers, Skippy! I'd love to see them and where you got 'em.
Fire 'em up, let's expose this travesty!
Well it sure is and prosecuting Democrats.
The Washington Times reported Sessions told Trump he could always offer his resignation if Trump didn't like they way he handled the Justice Dept. I thought that was snarky and cowardly. Look Jeff, either do your job that you took an oath to do, or just resign outright.
Sessions is certainly a disappointment. May Judge Moore win his seat in the special election.
Just say JURY NULLIFICATION!!!!!
He was probably out in the desert chasing the lost Hippie Manson family Reefer madness smokers.
Where is the data?
Where are the numbers?
Are you just making things up?
We need a knife fighting Trump-like figure for AG not a gracious and dignified old school southern gentleman,
Thanks for the informative post .
