Educated Women Freezing Eggs Because They Can’t Find Husbands

You know I travel all over the world meeting people from different cultures. Anyplace outside the West women are generally a delight to be around. They are very friendly and engaging, even in Mexico. If I needed a mate that’s where I’d go to find one.

Why is it that only Western women view Western men as “bitter men with chips on their shoulders.? Why is the West different in this way? If Western men really are like that then how come they do so well with women from outside the West? And why aren’t American women going outside the West if the Western men are so bad? Surely, if the Western men are as bad you implied successful Western women, not Western men, should have the pick of the crop outside of the West. Why don’t they? Why is it Western men are the ones doing so well with non-Western women?

South India has A LOT of Christians... im sure you know that already.

But the family is really dominate. Even here I know people whine about them all living together.. because thats how they are... Her folks are all back there, but she talks to them daily... thank god for facetime!! else I’d be broke.

I told my only son he was going to have a tough time finding a woman to raise his kids and put family first. We discussed him marrying a foreign woman, but that’s another obama voter. I cannot bear the responsibility of bringing in an entire family of socialists. Finally I told him unless he returns to a Biblically sound church, he should just stay single. I told him his test would be finding a woman who loves dogs and knows more Ray Stevens songs than he does.
I do see a traditional family in the church, though.

We could easily trade 60 Million American liberal women for 50 Million Filipina women, or just reopen the visa programs for Filipina women in all categories.

Don’t drain the Philippines! My boys will be marriage aged in 10 years and we intend to send them to the Philippines for college (one wants to be a dentist and the other an engineer) ,, their mother is a Filipina and they are already getting tired of the anti-male “conform or be beat down” ways schools are structured here.

I have a Master’s. Had quit school about half way through my Bachelor’s so finished it after we got married. Went to work for a private university and got my Master’s for free while there.
Hubby has no degree but is 10 times smarter than me. lol

Men know that, and have responded accordingly; they know they bear the risks.

While the news occasionally floats a story about a woman paying alimony to a former husband, those cases are few and far between; women aren’t much interested in men making less than them.

I think one reason young women are avoiding STEM fields (despite every effort to flood them with women) is that they can see what older unmarried women got from women’s lib: The ability to work, and be taxed, like a man until you die. Instead, they remain as schoolteachers and such so they can at least have an easy “part-time” life with full-time benefits and a great retirement plan.

I've worked with a number of highly educated men and women from India and over the years they've had children and expanded their families. Every time a child has come, the grandparents from one side will come and stay for 1-2 months to help the mother out, then they'll leave and the other grandparents from the other side of the family will come for 1-2 months to help the mother out.

Honestly, I think the family orientation in the Indian culture is quite amazing and wonderful.

Answers
1. Western women have the legal and financial protections to be able to do so; the women in the rest of the world are not as independent.
2. Judeo-Christian tradition followed and superseded by the Enlightenment, political liberalism, universal suffrage, widespread divorce, contraception, and abortion.
3. Tickets; out of poverty and into Western citizenship with economic and religious freedom; chance to bear children who inherit those tickets and bring whole family.
4. Western women give something up to go outside; women who convert to Islam and move to Islamic world are an example. Men from less progressive cultures are not likely to provide Western women with the freedoms they expect so the women are at a disadvantage in both worlds.
5. They are competing for youth and beauty with their tickets. Sometimes they are outbid. It's not as if retirees are looking for older Russian, Thai, Filipina, African, etc. women so the Western retirees can look after these women in nursing homes.

Thanks for sharing your story. And I bet you are very happy in life with a great husband a fine man. So your story shows that women should not just eliminate men who have not achieved the same level of formal education.

Articles such as this one make it sound as if, of course, it goes without saying, that college educated women need to seek men at the same or higher education level. It seems to be considered conventional wisdom.

I see this with my son who is now an equipment operator and his GF will be in very high end tech job soon. At a professional level, with TS clearances.
