Someone here suggested just fund it with $20. Another suggested pulling the FDR stunt..but that wont work unless they believe he will follow through with the threat. Backing down on shutting down the govt over the wall lessens believability to pull an FDR type move about SCOTUS

I’ve commented on this subject on other sites, quite a few times. Some will agree. Some will try to educate me on the rule of law and those that are stuck in those cities.
Until each and everyone of the supporters or open borders, sanctuary cities/towns/campuses are either the direct/indirect victim of a crime committed by an illegal or refugee, there is absolutely no way to change their minds. And, some won’t even change their minds, even if they are a victim.
So, keep the money flowing. Absolutely no increases to any funding from this point on. Create a program where those that are “stuck” can get some help from the government to move and be replaced by some compassionate, bleeding heart liberal that would love to live there. Put some walls up around the locations and watch it descend into something like, Escape From NY. Let them cannibalize each other. Probably take about 6 months to a year for the consequences of their decisions to truly manifest.
Then, when all the illegals/refugees are in one place, go block by block, put ‘em on a C5 Galaxy and start flying them home. Fumigate the place and start moving normal folks back in.

If the Supreme Court makes a ruling, then we can start talking about the issue.
You, however, have NO Standing and NO say in the matter. Go preen & strut at your local Bar Association bar (& grill).
This is a hill worth fighting for. They most definitely have gone too far.
The thing that’s irritating is illegals are here against our laws. They’re invading a sovereign nation demanding room/board and funds and these cities are going all for it.
What is needed is, IMPEACHMENT of a judge, or two. THAT, will stop this nonsense.
The administration just has to take the tried and true approach of the Lois Lerner slow walk of sanctuary city/university grant requests. Just like no IRS approvals were given for hundreds of conservative applications, no approvals need be made for these money and grant requests. They can sit in the pending box for years just like Lerner did with the conservative requests. obumbles peeps set the precedent, just keep his legacy going but against the libs.
