SAN FRANCISCO -- A federal judge on Tuesday blocked any attempt by the Trump administration to withhold funding from “sanctuary cities” that do not cooperate with U.S. immigration officials, saying the president has no authority to attach new conditions to federal spending.

of funding has been the MO of past admins, but all of a sudden it does not apply...
For national security the Prez can block funding. The courts can stuff it. Courts never stopped Obama
Fund or don’t fund. Enforce our laws and arrest those who disobey those laws. “Leaders” in those sanctuary cities, counties and states are BREAKING THE LAW. Arrest them and prosecute them.

How can a single judge over rule an EO? Isn’t it up to the SCOTUS to decide that?

Money not sent to these cities will still not arrive, no matter how much the judge soils his diaper in frustration.
The reciprocol of that is that the cities have no authority to spend the money under conditions other than authorized, law enforcement included.
That's hilarious. Over and over the California AG and cities have insisted that "a state cannot make an immigration law", and that no one but the federal government can enforce immigration law.
