Racism motivated Trump voters more than authoritarianism or income inequality
The Washington Post ^ | April 17, 2017 | Thomas Wood

During the 2016 presidential campaign, many observers wondered exactly what motivated voters most: Was it income? Authoritarianism? Racial attitudes?

Let the analyses begin. Last week, the widely respected 2016 American National Election Study was released, sending political scientists into a flurry of data modeling and chart making.

The ANES has been conducted since 1948, at first through in-person surveys, and now also online, with about 1,200 nationally representative respondents answering some questions for about 80 minutes. This incredibly rich, publicly funded data source allows us to put elections into historical perspective, examining how much each factor affected the vote in 2016 compared with other recent elections.

The author has charts and graphs. He must be correct.

When you manufacture questions in false forms, and imputing the meaning of one thing to imply the meaning of another, you can get a survey to come up with anything you want.

I noticed all the principles in the organization that did the study are political science professors, a field dominated by Marxists.

You can see their Marxist leaning in their own definition of “authoritarianism”. It’s a definition designed to not possibly include Marxism.

This is a meaningless analysis.

As I read the data (and, it’s hard to do, since it’s not labeled well). The ONLY difference in this election from the past in terms of racism is: Democrat voters were LESS ‘racist’ than in the past. What the hell difference does THAT make?

Meanwhile, MORE poor people voted for Republicans than Democrats for the FIRST TIME since 1968? Nah, that couldn’t have mattered.... lol

What the Washington Post article fails to mention is that Trump voters are being accused by evolutionists of evolutionary racism, a philosophy of racism based on Charles Darwin's evolutionary theory. Evolutionary racism assumes that men have progressively evolved from star stuff (Carl Sagan) through seaweed, fish, and apes, thus some races are more highly evolved than others. In this way of thinking, the most highly evolved are the natural rulers of the less evolved humanoids. With Hitler, Aryans were the most highly evolved. In contemporary America, the ‘ruling class’ is most highly evolved while middle class Americans (particularly Christians, blue collar workers and white straight men and women) are unevolved humanoids on a level with beasts.

Evolutionary racism establishes a "scientific" rationale for racism by extending the mystical "great chain of being” from the Divine One Substance (god) on down through humanity. Thus just as animal kinds are ordered into a hierarchy according to evolutionary development, so too the "races of men" are described as being more or less developed than others.

Evolutionists then extend the doctrine of survival of the fittest to humanity. Removing religious morality and replacing it with the laws of nature, they claim that just as the varieties of animals struggle to survive, so shall the varieties of man, with the strong dominating and destroying the weak. Since Trump voters are seen as undeveloped trouble-making humanoids worthy of destruction, they are accused of racism by their ‘betters.'

AS ONE PRESCIENT POSTER SAID: Liberals whine that "patriotism" (or lack thereof) is often used as a cudgel to silence/shame those who question our leaders.

Yeah, but that sword cuts both ways.

Using that same logic, labeling criticisms of Obama as "racism" is ridiculous.

Agreed. The media, and Hillary’s people, including Hillary herself, keep coming out from time to time, with reasons why she lost.

And none of them ever discuss how Hillary is a terrible candidate. She’s a terrible politician. She has a hectoring lecturing nagging speaking style. She has an irritating tone of voice. After eight years of a liberal hack as president, the American people wanted to make changes. Hillary would have been more of the same Obama policies which people were turned off from. Hillary herself is a nagging mean spirited uninspiring politician. People don’t want to hear how they are deplorable from a candidate, they want to hear some positive messages about what they would do as president.

The MSM and liberals still have no clue why the lost this election.

I guess the blame Russia narrative is running out of steam. So back to the old reliable race card. The left is so predictable!

As you might expect, this "survey" is claimed by University of Michigan and Stanford University. See bottom of page one here.

That chart is from here.

Strangely the survey considers these 4 traits to be ‘liberal’ (I presume they erroneously mean it in the US sense of the word);

Being Considerate
Being Self-Reliant
Demonstrate Curiosity
Being Independent

Anyone who knows anything about polling knows that anonymous polling is more accurate than in-person. During in-person interviewers, the respondent bends the truth to improve the interviewer’s perception of the respondent.

In 2008 Democrats were saying publicly that the Clintons were racists.

And yet, right now, we have less racial strife, radicals like the author won’t want to admit that.

The Obama/Sharpton/Holder administration fanned the flames of racial strife.

Racism exists; but they certainly weren’t combating it.

Man, the denial the left is in...

I’ve never seen such total blindness in my life, and good for them. As long as they don’t learn from their mistakes, they will keep making them.

WRONG.

Everyone knew of Hillary Clinton's many faults, especially her arrogance (she totally ignored the advice of Paul Begala, James Carville and her own husband--you know, the troika that actually won the 1992 Presidential election) and her inability to refute Peter Schweizer's book Clinton Cash (and the video made from it)). No wonder why the MSM in their fawning support of Hillary Clinton ended up in shock when she lost.
