Defense Secretary James Mattis will brief President Trump on military options against Syria, CBS News' David Martin reports, after a chemical attack in northern Syria, believed to have been carried out by forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, killed at least 72 people, many of them children.
Mr. Trump is going to be briefed by Mattis in Florida on some options, one of which would be cruise missile strikes from U.S. Navy ships.
At a news conference Wednesday, the president called the chemical attack in Syria was a "horrible, horrible thing" that "crossed a lot of lines for me." He also acknowledged, "It is now my responsibility," though he did not indicate what actions he would consider.
U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley condemned the United Nations and threatened U.S. could retaliate unilaterally against Syria.
"When the United Nations consistently fails in its duty to act collectively, there are times in the life of states that we are compelled to take our own action," Haley said. "For the sake of the victims, I hope the rest of the council is finally willing to do the same." She called the attack "a new low, even for the barbaric Assad regime" and went on to say that "Russia cannot escape responsibility."

Of course, it is. It is to wipe out Western Christian cultures so they have tribal, ignorant slaves for the State. Only Christians created free will and individual “Natural Rights from God” and established a “Rule of Law”.
They want to flood ignorant, vile people to create chaos in all civilized areas, so the banksters can take over every country and control ALL INFORMATION that little children get.
The elite sodomite banksters (all immoral and evil) have funded ALL WARS and created false flags for ALL WARS since forever. There has been elite control of the world for ages (serf/tribal/feudalism/all slave systems). Only Europe and America created the most free—and America is the exception-—the most free, most just, most equal, most brilliant system ever devised where WE are supposed to be our OWN masters.
But without Virtue (Christian Ethics) that freedom can not exist. So the War is really against the Christian worldview-—to make slaves (normalize vice) in all the little children-—through Common Core and Hollywood. Toxic cultures destroy virtue formation in children so they will remain slaves for life.
For world government they need “Rule of Man/Oligarchy” and slaves of the State as Fichte knew in 1810 so the sodomite Lucifereans created the “system” of mass indoctrination and to KILL OFF all people of Virtue (who are truly free).
They needed to get little children into group-think centers (daycares/skools) so that individualism, identity, and critical thinking (Minds like the Founders) could be erased off the face of the earth.
For “happy slavery”, you need conditioned, brainwashed masses who are incapable of Free Will (choice) because emotions have been so warped and irrational emotions emedded into little children in artificial institutions and in front of screens so they remain irrational for life. Most school “systems” embed dependency only and destroy virtue formation (thinking coherently for self).
Only Classical Christian curricula, along with the Natural family for first 7 years of life, creates Reality, Truth (God), science, and Individuality and identity, so it can be understood and EMBEDDED for understanding of male/female paradigm, correct emotions, so the children can understand Self and Reality and not be warped and slaves for life so they will believe idiocy like sodomizing others and baby-killing is “Good”.

Trump can bypass international authorization by claiming human rights violations (it’s basically an extension of self defense claim for humanity). Trump can use the 1973 war powers resolution to bypass congress. We could have a no fly zone and safe spaces starting in hours...

The US Marine Artillery contingent in Northern Syria has already had over 1000 fire missions.
The US will have military personnel stationed in Syria for years.
1000 fire missions, none of which killed anyone in the Syrian Armed Forces or Russian troops.
Yet.
It’s coming in over the wires that what action we might take is shooting down the regime’s planes. We’d have to know which are manned by Syrians and which are manned by Russians it seems. Maybe that would make their barrel bombs basically ineffective.

It would be a great strategy. Let Congress and Schumer and McCain push for war. Trump knows that many will oppose it, and Congress would likely defeat the motion. Show them all as hypocrites, and Trump gets what he wants.

Very true but the reason for my concern is that President Trump himself commented on the Syrian situation today and did in fact blame Assad for the gas.
