This healthcare debate among the GOP factions is absolutely stupid and counterproductive

Posted on 03/26/2017 5:08:03 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

This is absolutely stupid. These long drawn out debates within the GOP struggling to settle on the nitty gritty about what and who should be covered and at what price is ridiculous. It's NOT your job, gentlemen. All you are doing is playing into the socialist democrats hands.

Please consult your pocket constitutions and discover that the power to make these decisions regarding health care and insurance, etc, is not an enumerated power and is not delegated by the constitution to the congress or the federal government. It's reserved to the states and the people. Get OUT of it!!

Conservatives and Republicans fight against this unconstitutional intrusive big government socialist crap, remember?

Mr. President, I know that you are a compassionate guy and you like to take care of the people, but our federal government was not established to be a charity to take care of the poor. This was all left to the local and state governments and the people to decide. Charity is a societal or local government issue, not federal government. Insurance is in the domain of free enterprise. You need to get your people out of it, and concentrate on your primary constitutional responsibilities: National defense, national security, border security, foreign relations, trade, making sure our federal courts and constitutionally authorized departments are manned with constitutional-minded people and that they are faithfully and efficiently executing the constitutional laws to the best of their abilities. Keep the waste and fraud and corruption OUT! Keep the cost of government and taxes down. Do not allow the federal government to put up unconstitutional or unnecessary regulations or obstacles to free enterprise.

You want to go down in history as the most successful president in history and the one that saves the nation and our liberty?

If so, repeal and dump Obamacare and all the other wasteful unconstitutional crap you can right now, early in your first term. Do your homework, find out which departments and programs are dragging down the economy, dump them, and cut deeply into the deadwood wherever possible.

Write off and dump everything you possibly can and take all your big lumps in your first year or two. Get all the losing crap behind you and then start building on your successes with your new lean and mean constitutional machine.

Like the man said. Go BIG and go BOLD! Repeal, cut, slash, rip, burn and abolish (rinse and repeat)!

Drain the swamp and MAGA!

Oh, yeah. And don't count on Lyin' Ryan, Turtle McConnell or any other big government establishment RINO. You were elected to fight against the establishment jackasses, not to join them. Remember?

3D chess going on here

Repeal is already in play

But they also need D votes to pass replace. As soon as it’s written off stage watch how quickly it will all fall in place with bipartisan support.

Do you think we’ve been witnessing kabuki these last few days?

This is absolutely stupid.

This two-month-long GOP foul-up was caused purposefully by the elites and yet was stupid from its inception. Ipso facto, the elites in power are stupid and too stupid to get past their stupidity. These so-called representatives are also staunchly against those who voted for Trump and are equally as evil as the Dems. And I do not refer to the Freedom Caucus at all.

When push came to shove on Obamacare, Paul Ryan sided with the Democrats. Paul Ryan made a royal ass of himself in front of the entire nation, and he has placed himself at the same level of Nancy Pelosi. Twins separated at birth. The Republicans had to pass the bill to find out what was in it. (Spit)

Mr. President, time to step up and be a leader, not a follower. You’re the President, not Paul Ryan.

They’ve got to do a full repeal of Obamacare Jim.

A full repeal is a one page bill. It simply include the standard header and date, and it says such and such law PPACA yada yada is HEREBY REPEALED.

The house could have had that typed in 30 minutes and passed it over a month ago.

Because a full repeal is a law in itself, it would have had to get through the Senate but the Democrats would have filibustered a full repeal.

Fine, let the democrats take blame for fighting the full repeal of their monstrosity.

President Trump must play hardball with these democrats and the republicans they control.

The way to play hardball is to prosecute Geithner, and Obama Administration officials for illegally transferring billions upon billions upon billions from the general fund to Obamacare to buy votes. It was completely unauthorized and it forced Geithner to resign.

Once the public would learn of how Obamacare was illegally propped up, there would be enough votes in the Senate for cloture and full repeal would sail through on a simple majority.

This is still an option.
