Kill the Ryan bill! Repeal the unconstitutional Obamacare or let it go bust!

Posted on 03/24/2017 1:22:04 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

A no vote on RYANcare/GOPcare is a vote FOR constitutional government.

Obamacare, RYANcare, RINOcare, GOPcare, Hillarycare, Trumpcare or ANY form of federal government mandated health care package is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! The constitution clearly reserves health care and health care insurance to the states and the PEOPLE!

The founders did not establish the federal government to be a charity or to "care for" the personal needs of the citizens. The founders never intended to create a welfare state! The constitution was intended to severely RESTRICT the powers of the federal government and to leave most governing powers to the states and the PEOPLE! The power to mandate or provide or control health care or health care insurance is not delegated to the federal government by the constitution, therefore it's reserved by the 10th amendment to the states and the people.

If they’e looking to blame someone, blame it on the founders. Blame it on the constitution.

The bill is wrong. Remember the tea party? For seven long years we’ve been demanding and voting for Republicans on a nationwide basis to repeal the unconstitutional big government socialist Obamacare. We do not want to replace it with a Republican brand of unconstitutionalism. We want it repealed, dead and gone, ripped out by the roots and the ground salted so it can never rise again.

Free markets or bust!

NO federal mandates or tinkering of any kind!

If the Republicans pass this POS, then unconstitutional federal government intrusion and mandates will be here forever (or until the rebellion anyway).

Passing this GOPcare bill sends the signal that government healthcare (some form of nationalized healthcare, socialism, single payer, etc) is perfectly fine by both major political parties and it’s just a matter of time before the democrats retake power and ram through universal single payer socialism.

Pass it and freedom is dead.

Good lord. You all realize this bill, however defecient, was supported by POTUS, the same guy we all fought to elect.

Now be happy with Obamacare. It’s not going anywhere and we will have to find the monstrosity because of the FFC (f’ing freedom caucus).

Also say goodbye to GOP house majority. POTUS just said he will not come back to Healthcare anytime soon.

And for just as long the medical/pharmaceutical lobbyists have been paying them to screw us over.

It was very disappointing to see President Trump taking a part in this unconstitutional action. I hope the man is doing his homework and learning exactly what his job entails - this was not part of it.

“They pulled the bill and denied members the opportunity to vote no.”

Because they would have overwhelmingly voted no, embarrassing the Speaker.

Paul Ryan should resign his leadership position. This was his turd, not President Trumps.

My fired so on the left are calling to gloat and my response to each has been “What are gloating about? If it’s that Ryan has demonstrated his ineptitude, then fine. But, you will find that I am in agreement with you that this turd legislation could never be polished to make it acceptable as some work of art”.

Ryan needs to be severely wounded and removed. He allowed crony capitalism to govern him.

The people were completely disrespected by this absurd legislation that is a slap in the face of all we have worked for these last 8 years.

If he ain’t whacked with a Clue by Fore and gets the message, as does his jester cohorts, then how are we to ever be a free people?

FU PR...

The fundamental issue is government control of the healthcare industry.
Lowering premiums is a red herring.
Taking back freebies is another red herring.
24 million citizens losing health care is a third red herring.
Getting government out of the Dr’s office is the critical issue. That is the only thing the people who elected Trump insist upon. That is one thing the power mongers in DC absolutely will not give up.

If this was Ryan’s turd and not POTUS’, why did Trump support it till the very end. Delusional.

Well said Jim!

Now President Trump, can you please push for the full repeal you promised us?

I get that repealing ObamaCare will be a harder task than replacing it.

I get that Lyin’ Ryan has no control over the House - to the extent that he couldn’t even get House Repubs to pass this replacement bill.

I get that even if it made it out of the House - the chances of a Republican controlled Senate passing it are also slim and none.

I get all this and more. That repealing ObamaCare and replacing it with NOTHING is next to impossible. That waiting for it to “collapse” or “implode” just aint gonna work. I get that it will take months - even to the midterm - before any meaningful progress can be made.

But dammit Jim. They gotta start trying all over again. And this time - they gotta focus on repeal. Not repeal and replace.

Just repeal.

Start with the individual mandate if you like. Start with repealing the coverage for illegals. Start somewhere. Anywhere. If that measure fails then pick another aspect of ObamaCare and work on that. Then return later after awhile and try again. Try until the whole bloody mess is finally repealed.

Ryan is the idiot who pushed the crazy plan on Trump. I want health insurance like it was before Obama. You buy a policy from an agent licensed in your state or it is a group plan at work. NO FEDERAL GOV INVOLVEMENT period. Medicare was bad enough without Obamacare regs that are killing us older folks.

We have been lied to once again. We were told that if we gave them the House, the Senate and the White House, it would be gone. We did so, based on the fact that they voted for repeal almost 50 times during the obunghole administration. Now, all of a sudden, it’s a problem? No, I don’t believe so. Moreover, I will no longer allow myself to be treated this way by these rotten, filthy, traitorous, ignorant wretches. I’m giving up on the ballot box. It doesn’t work anymore.

Exactly - the proposed “stage 2” and “stage 3” was all BS. Ryan care would simply cement the basic outline of Obamacare in place. As the Heritage Foundation said, the goal was to turn health-care into a Federally-regulated utility.

I do not believe Obamacare will “go bust” nor will it “collapse.”

yes, it can and will become increasingly perverse and destructive, especially for the middle-class. But the mandates all remain in place, and it will continue to receive funding from Fed.gov, paid for with debt and printed money. I have never understood why people think it will “collapse.”

This is NOT a win!

REPEAL PERIOD, Should have been completed ALREADY!!!

Sad thing is so many here (Free Republic) whom years ago said the Federal Government had No Authority for it to begin with are many of those cheering on the Ryan/Trump bill! (They will play the same game as the DNC, slip it in when they think there is less watching it).

Don’t be a Fool! So many have Willfully believe Trump was going to Repeal Obamacare. But they Payed No Attention!

Wake Up Trump is NOT being Played, He is part of the Players!

Trump is in on Big Government... It just needs to be in his Favor... He NEVER was going to REPEAL Obamacare! Remember when I ask well before Trump was elected and was still running for the GOP, What do you think He is going to do? I ask people to Document what they though he was going to do, what he stood for, Yet No One would record what Trump Stood for or what He was going to do. Its because He has been and always was ALL OVER the Place.

I Say Again the Federal Government HAS to be SLAYED! There is No Fixing it for the Beast is now in Total Control and it will not go away, thus it has to be removed!

Return to God, His Order and a Moral people or continue as Slaves to the Beast and Much Darker Days Ahead!

The Enemy is within and until we deal with that Enemy we will Never be able to Deal with the Enemy’s outside the Nation.

Know this:

Return to God, a Moral people and Christendom! Anything Else if for Not! When you see the reunification of Christians into the One True Faith the Holy and Apostolic Catholic Church the End to the Darkness will be Assured... Until then PRAY for All the Lost Souls!

God Bless

If this bill couldn’t pass, why are you buying into the idea something worse will?

That defies logic, but I’ve seen a number of folks go down that rabbit hole.

Repeal Obmacare. It’s a simple concept, and there are votes to do it.

They should have kept that amendment in the Senate parliamentarian objected to ; illegals need not apply. And let the Senate kick it back to the House.
