LOCKHART, TX (WTNH)– A 27-year-old Texas teacher, who is accused of having sex with one of her students, is trending after her smiling mugshot went viral.
According to the Mirror, married science teacher, Sarah Fowlkes, was arrested for having an “improper relationship” with a 17-year-old student of Lockhart High School in Lockhart, Texas.
The investigation began on March 10th after a tip from officials at the high school. This led detectives to the student who admitted to being in contact physically and by messages with Fowlkes.
The Mirror reports that Fowlkes was charged after turning herself into police, just hours after reportedly celebrating her birthday out at a restaurant with her husband of four years.
Fowlkes has been suspended from the school and counselling is now being offered to students there.

Look at the eyes — she has the type of eyes that make me think she’d be outside of the boy’s window at 3 AM stalking him if he ever broke up with her.
A 27 year old having sex with a 17 year old isn’t quite as bad as some of what we’ve seen but she should at least be fired. Teachers should not have sex with students, period. And she should be charged with something so that its on her record and she can’t get another teaching job.
I bet she is a pea brain.
When I was 17, I would want to be counseled on how I can do this.
As it was, I had to wait until my 20’s.
A few years ago I decided to google this trend of female teachers sleeping with male students. It was all I was hearing about.
Turns out it is significanly more common for male teachers to sleep with female students, but that is a “dog bites man” story, so it’s rarely reported outside of the local community.
This type of story is much more titillating.
Where were these teachers when I was in HS?
Been going on for years, Back in the eighties classmate of mine married our previously married English teacher. Him 18, she 28. Her husband went to jail for embellishment and my eager classmate started coming over helping her around the house.

Stats are hard to find on this issue, although the male on female version is probably significantly higher. I caution however, that a much higher percentage of male on female incidents are reported by the victim and parents than the other way around. The comments in this thread regarding “guilt” are indicative of the underlying reasons.
Additionally, there is lots of female on female incidents that are way below the radar.
These opinions are from my experiences in criminal justice related directly to these matters. Others may certainly have their own opinions that differ.
She’s guilty of being intelligent enough to understand her photo will absolutely be the most important part of the story.

I’m not saying what she did was right but this photo simply Bros she’s not quite a total idiot.
She’s hot as hell and right now the boy’s friends are spraining their shoulders high giving him.
Women are choosing boys because they have not yet been feminized, do not know how strongly pitted against men the legal system is.
that’s why this is happening.
