In particular I question the “so far” part. From my viewpoint, Pres. Trump is thwarted completely. So far. His first EO, his second. Stayed. He complies with the stay. So far.
The phrase “sanction of the victim” comes to mind. Even if he eventually prevails in court, he has acknowledged the authority of these judges who are clearly overstepping.

I’m not aware of any election Congressional mandate that put this jackass judge in charge of the Presidential duties. He deserves to be prosecuted for his illegal power grab. I hope AG Sessions pursues it.
Jurisdiction stripping handles that nicely - but the Uniparty's plan all along was to have 5 judges rule the United States from the Supreme Court bench, after a Hillary win.

Congress has the power to remove immigration from the jurisdiction of the federal courts and at this point, given the non-sensical rulings with now law backing the courts, they should just do it.

1. The State Department can go as slow as it wants in vetting refugees and issuing visas.
2. The Constitution allows Congress to set the jurisdiction of the lower courts. President Trump should propose a law depriving all district and appellate courts any jurisdiction to rule on matters of immigration law (except for criminal cases like illegal retlentry, etc). Congress could decide to provide jurisdiction to one particular district court or to none at all, in which case challenges to his actions would have to be brought in the Supreme Court. Or Congress could establish a new special district court to deal with challenges to immigration laws and the President could then appoint new judges for that court.
Time for a major “structural reform” to the judicial branch.
It is very difficult to impeach bad federal judges, and must be done one at a time. But structural reform can eliminate and recreate their courts, without them, dozens at a time.
They will still get their full pay and retirement, but they will no longer hear cases or make rulings. Then their reformed court can be brought back with new judges.
Except for the SCOTUS, which is created by the constitution, all subordinate federal courts are under the complete control of congress. So in addition to reorganization, congress can do a major criminal and civil reform as well.
This could mean stripping the lower federal courts of their jurisdiction to hear all kinds of cases that have been used by radical federal judges to “create new laws”. It can also direct the courts to ignore bad precedents, considering cases without reference to them.
