I have also noticed with the timing of the Milo assassination there comes an attempted rise of the never trump globalist faux conservatives.

How can anyone who supports a flaming homosexual criticize "faux conservatives?"

Every time I hear or read the term "globalist" a little voice tells me it's someone who doesn't believe in either a single One True G-d or a single true religion but who thinks every ethnic group on earth should have its own. Is that your idea of opposing "globalism?" If the entire world were united under A-mighty G-d, would that be "globalism" to you?

Milo is more man than Shapiro will ever be. He took up arms in the fight for right while Shapiro rooted for the other side and aided and abetted them.

Shapiro has no place in the conversation now.

Shapiro:

>Am I willing to risk a Hillary presidency not to vote for Trump? The answer is yes. The reason the answer is yes is because I am not going to watch the only party that has a possibility of reflecting conservatism descend into this. I’m just not going to do it. I’m not going to be complicit in the death of the conservative movement at the hands of Donald Trump. If we’re going to have an opposition, let it be the opposition, let us not be our own opposition. I thought this whole battle was about taking the party back from the establishment. And so the idea is that we’re now going to hand it over to the one person who is going to destroy – he’s not going to destroy the establishment – but destroy the possibility of conservatism? In 1964, Republicans lost badly to Lyndon Baines Johnson. Without that happening, there is no Ronald Reagan. In 1976, they rebelled against Gerald Ford. Without that happening, there is no Ronald Reagan. So, if we actually want to have a conservative leader at any point in the future, not just an Arnold Schwarzenegger Republican, at some point we’re going to have to stand up on our hind legs and say no. And it seems to me starting with the guy who’s happy to appeal to a bunch of people who like the KKK, that starting with the guy who’s happy to talk about the size of his genitalia on national television and endorse Planned Parenthood, that starting with the guy who has undermined every conservative principle at some point during this race, that might be a good place to start. Because otherwise, your vote as a conservative doesn’t matter. Listen, if all you do is every four years, you just pull the lever for the guy who’s the least of two available options, the least bad of two available options, if that’s all you do, you’re never going to get somebody you actually like. All you’re going to have is the best of two bad options, and then the country just slides toward the cliff at 30 mph as opposed to 60.

That’s the guy you want me to listen to? Every prediction he made about Trump was a lie. Why in the world should I listen to him now?

God’s already destroyed the tower of babel. He’s ordained nations and peoples live separately and not united under a single banner of globalism.

No Ben is not. he is paid gun just like most of the “Conservative” media. he has no principals or political honor merely does what he is paid to do.

He not anyone to be respected at all. His willingness to actively attempt to elect Hillary disqualifies him from pretending to be anything but a paid media whore.

As “Real Conservatives” know actions have consequences. Ben picked his side, he can now go live with it and quit wasting our time with his fraudulent posturing

Savage serves Savage’s Ego.

Conway was a Cruz woman who came along after Trump won the candidacy, and who did not genuflect to Savage. Ingraham was more of a Trump woman, and has long championed Savage.

I like Ingraham, and have no particular criticism of her; I actually like her better than Conway. My point is, follow the ego (as well as the money).

I can barely stand to listen to that infantile egomaniac, who seems to think that he single-handedly invented Western Civilization (after watching over Timothy Leary’s hashish cache, of course) - and who now, as an agnostic Jew (?) - is going to write a book on God.

I am an ordained minister, but have lost patience with disingenuous subtlety in my advanced age. I have no intention of letting this creature preach to me about God. I never used any drugs at all, and I am not on a second marriage (and apparently separated from the second wife). I have paid a far higher price for my convictions than has Michael Weiner.

I do not dispute his intelligence, or denounce his achievements. (As an herbalist, I knew of his books before he was ever on the air.) My problem is with his arrogant and vindictive treatment of anyone who does not kow-tow to him - including many of his callers.

I last about five minutes average, before he angers me with one of his self-serving tirades. But then, I no longer listen to Mark Levin at all, ever, so there is that.

How many times does Bennie manage to bash Trump and Milo? I refuse to click through to anything from NR.

It’s likely a thinly disguised attack against Milo, I’m sure, since they dislike each other intensely. Regardless, I have no ears for this little NeverTrumper twerp. He and his friends will do whatever they can to impeach President Trump.

Savage never is more pathetic than when he talks philosophy or theology.

Recently, he spoke movingly against abortion—including how coarsening and monstrous it is, how it is destroying our civilization. And then he said that, of course, we can’t outlaw it because sometimes people just can’t afford another child.

I generally agree with your post.

Mark Steyn is another example: As someone pointed out elsewhere, Steyn, an atheist, got maudlin over the death of George Michael in an irrational way that he probably would not have done if her were a Christian. I certainly have a high regard for Steyn’s intellect, but I surprised and disappointed by his commentary on that.

>>The enemy of your enemy is your enemy’s enemy. Nothing more. Nothing less.

>This is a self-evident truth in danger of being forgotten by our side.

Followers of Jesus Christ know that your neighbor is the Good Samaritan. Has Milo provided our side with aid and comfort? Has he fought our enemies and helped save us from Hillary Clinton? You can hate Milo for who he is and his degenerate lifestyle but you can’t argue away that his actions haven’t been a huge help to our side and to getting Trump elected.

Ben Shapiro for all his brains doesn’t have nor does he understand basic Christian empathy and ethics. To him everything is ideas and words but to a Christians actions matter more than ideas and words.

Shapiro is basically stating that Trump is the enemy. You agree with that?

Hell no. I just read (barely read) the excerpt. Which didn’t mention Trump at all.

So in fine FReeper tradition - I just commented without really having a clue.

My thoughts also. Only Trump had a “chance” to beat Hillary because of his pop culture TV show, which made his name known to everyone—the masses. Most people have no idea who a Ted Cruz is—esp. younger people and the ignorant (sadly—most people nowadays). Ignorance is vice and it will destroy our nation if we don’t take back the minds of children and put in a truly “educational” system, instead of the evil mass group-think brainwashing system we have today.

We needed an Alpha male after the decades of emasculate males. People were starved for a real masculine (mature) male personality. Males have been so feminized since the 60s, it has warped generations, so they are so stupid they believe that males and females are interchangeable. They aren’t and our gut recognizes it, when we see the power and control ooze out of Trump—a mature male.

Shapiro is quite young and wisdom only comes with age, so you should give him a break. He is quite wise for his age compared to most. His grasp of Natural Law (common sense) is pretty good, though his dogma gets in the way at times. I’ve seen him praise some Trump moves though, and he was very fair in his commentary at times. No one is perfect.

I like Shapiro actually, Its a shame he was so anti-Trump. But he is effective when he debates the left, very much so, probably better than Milo. So I will accept help from him when he does so. He has warmed to Trump, but he is still not a big fan. He still points out what he believes Trump gets wrong, and I actually appreciate that, I do like to hear another opinion from time to time.

because of his pop culture TV show

My reasoning was more to his ability to counter the press and take them out of the equation many many times. All of the others would have wilted under pressure from the press. He had name recognition long before his reality TV show, however, that did reinforce his name recognition. I personally never watched The Apprentice. While I liked what Trump was saying at first, I had dismissed him because I didn't really think he was serious. But when I started seeing him do battle with the press I started to have a very different take on him.

You are right, no one is perfect, but until Ben becomes real I will continue to ignore him. What you see is him aping his mentors, of whom most are NeverTrumpers neo-cons. When he can start grasping the bigger picture will he begin to earn back my respect for him. That has no happened yet, and might never happen in my lifetime. We shall see. I read what he says, but I reject the majority of it.

Question being asked here (by me, unsuccessfully): if Steyn, by chance or otherwise, makes an intelligent observation about something . . . will you discount it because of his response to the death of George Michael?

Did Ben Shapiro get fired last month from the Los Angeles radio station KRLA because he went bonkers opposing Donald Trump?
