Well, Ford got paid off by the DNC. Now, how long will it take for them to PAY for their decision with the public?

Ford was the only domestic car company I would buy after the Government Motors mess.

Guess I'll have to stick to either used or new Japanese cars.

Then they’ll get faced with 35% to send the parts over the border again.

Everyone knew the deal.

Besides, Ford apparently has had a presence in MX for .. 90 years ? Wow.

They think all the BS MSM news is affecting the people’s opinions. They’re WRONG. Trump will rain hell on them.

Buying a car in April.

It was down to Ford, Chevrolet, Nissan and Dodge.

Now it’s ONE LESS. #### them

Anyone I know who has a Nissan (including myself) has had the car for over a decade at least. 13 years and counting for mine with no major engine issues and no body rot.

Different products.
I don’t recall Ford saying they wouldn’t ever build in Mexico.
The canceled plant was to build Ford Focus.

Maybe in their haste to initialy cancel they realized that maybe they should negotiate a little more.

The problem for me is nobody makes a decent Truck but Chevy. I buy 2500HD and run them 250,000 with NO REPAIRS. A ford needs to be replaced at 125,000

Of Course, And good trucks but this is about AMERICA and we will not tolerate anti- American corporate practices of moving jobs out. I do agree that much of this environmental crap must be removed from our cars as worthless. This will reduce costs!!!!

I’ve got a 2005 Nissan Altima. It’s got about 112, 000 miles on it. Other than general maintenance, the only thing I had to replace was the air conditioning compressor 3 years ago. It’s got the original muffler system too. This car has never been parked in a garage. It’s been out in the elements since it was bought, and only has a couple of small rust spots. The car doesn’t owe me a penny.

Dodge

You might as well scratch Dodge off your list as well. All of the Chrysler car lines, and many of their trucks, are build in other countries.

And Ford is not breaking its promise. The plant they decided they weren't going to move to Mexico is still staying here, something numerous articles on this move including this one have pointed out.
