Washington (CNN)Embattled White House national security adviser Michael Flynn resigned Monday night, two sources tell CNN. His departure came just after reports surfaced the Justice Department warned the Trump administration last month that Flynn misled administration officials regarding his communications with the Russian ambassador to the United States and was potentially vulnerable to blackmail by the Russians.

Ok, so CNN is NOT loving this? Joe Scarborough is going to feel like the smartest guy in the room tomorrow. I don’t need to watch this drivel to know what is going on. I also know that they haven’t really been able to get Trump to change and any sign that they can is going to get all of the establishment figure giddy. I’ll pay attention to his tone (Trump) on Russia, Islam and China. If the last Obama sanctions don’t come off, if he starts talking about Islam being a religion of peace and if he starts going week knee on China i’ll know that he is not in control of the government. I pray none of those things play out. I’m in wait and see mode. Slightly less optimistic than I was before

people seem to forget who we're dealing with here. it's donald trump. by wednesday morning, he will have blown the news cycle to Mars with some controversial action of his choosing, and changed the subject to something he wants the media to obsess about hysterically.
we've seen this play a hundred times already.
If the guy is legitimately subject to blackmail he ought not be in the office to which he was appointed. He seems to know that. That’s not a scapegoat. That’s an admission of guilt. Who cares what the left thinks or makes of things? They’re liars to the core.
With Fake News-CNN breaking the story, I will not assume it’s the truth. I will need a credible source.

It’s sad but if he was vulnerable to being blackmailed by the Russians then it’s best he leave. If he had told the truth in the first place this would have blown over. As usual the cover-up was worse than the ‘crime’.
