The White House press corps is "strenuously" objecting to any attempt to eject it from its West Wing digs, a move reportedly being considering by President-elect Trump's communications team.
.
.
.
"The WHCA will fight to keep the briefing room and West Wing access to senior administration officials open. We object strenuously to any move that would shield the president and his advisers from the scrutiny of an on-site White House press corps."

Bullshit. You were in the obama White House, and you gave him no scrutiny. You gave him a free pass to do anything and everything he wanted to do. You will rip to shreds anything Trump does whether you have a room in the White House or not. So STFU.

...if only for fire safety reasons!

As a builder, Trump is probably aware that they've may have been pushing the margins on safety up until now. If he wants new media to have access, they need more room.

Is that what they call what they've been doing the last 8 years? LOL, literally LOL. I have zero, absolutely zero faith they would start performing any kind of unbiased "scrutiny" under President Trump. No-doubt they would simply be looking to do a hatchet job on him and his administration. Kick them out, and tweet it out Mr. President!

From a purely technical perspective it is a very logical idea to have one room dedicated solely to information sharing. The WH cannot support that. Every presser has to be set up from scratch and loaded out afterwards. Same as the capital, prior to and immediately after. Security is taxed, the infrastructure is in disarray, operations and daily routine are disturbed or halted altogether.

A dedicated site next door makes much more sense to the organized mind. Anything else reflects disjointed and disorganized planning.

Well - if the press corps not only objects but “objects strenuously” that makes a BIG difference!

Movie Quote From “A Few Good Men”:

In an empty courtroom after the trial has adjourned for the day:

Lt. (j.g) Sam Weinberg to Lt. Cdr. JoAnne Galloway:

“I strenuously object?” Is that how it works? Hm?”
“Objection.”
“Overruled.”
“Oh, no, no, no. No, I STRENUOUSLY object.”
“Oh. Well, if you strenuously object then I should take some time to reconsider.”

Note this picture, taken when George W. Bush was President:

Note the crowded nature of the room even back then. They really need to move it somewhere else, if only just to satisfy the Washington, DC fire marshal!

“on-site White House press corps”

Except these are not press reporting the facts, they are communist propagandist reporting lies.

The press needs to earn their way into our whitehouse.

The DNC could give them space; reporters could pick up the day's talking points on their way in.

So the Leftist media finally found something they are willing to fight for…the 49 seats in the White House Press room. As though they have a divine right to those seats. Shut it down and move them to a much larger venue where the new media can be included. Pres. Trump owes this bunch of Hillary supporters NOTHING!
