This week our country gets a new president, our 45th, Donald J. Trump.
Many people spark to Mr. Trump's blunt "If you hit me I hit back twice as hard" style. They find him refreshing.
I don't find Donald Trump refreshing.
I think he's the most ill-prepared and ill-suited person ever elevated to the office. With that said, I hope he turns out to be as "amazing", "fantastic", "terrific", "awesome", and "really, really, really good" as he claims he will be.
I don't root for presidents to fail.
I didn't root for George W. Bush to fail or Barack Obama. I'm not going to root for Donald J. Trump to fail. If I cut off my nose my glasses fall on the floor. They're no good to me down there. He was not my candidate, but like it or not, he is my president.
And that worries me greatly.

Doug McIntyre is the reason I don’t listen to KABC radio anymore.
He said they voted for Obama in 2008 because he wanted the GOP to bottom out and then start over. When Larry Elder called him (and Al Rantel) the Marx brothers for voting for Obama they stopped speaking to each other. A month later Elder lost his job.
Agreed. IMHO, Donald Trump is going to be one of the greatest Presidents ever. From everything I’ve seen of him, he gets it, at a micro level.

Didn’t Obama supporters say some drivel like Obama lived Indonesia, so he would be great on foreign affairs? Ugh!!

I never have and never will see a single thing that commended Obama for the U.S. presidency. There were just too many people anxious to have a “black” president, even a half-black would do. Especially a clean and articulate black. With all the possibilities available, they chose Obama.
I liked Doug MacIntyre a very very long time ago. He had real historical knowledge and red eye radio was something normal to listen to at night.
Then he decided to vote for Obama for every wrong reason in 2008, and I couldn’t stand him any more. He is more typical Hollywood than conservative and that is a shame.
Glad he isn’t dyeing his hair glowing yellow any more. Looks much nicer.
I didn’t realize the progression of Elder losing his job. Elder is such a straight up guy. He comes on Hannity’s show a lot. He is who he is and isn’t swayed by his surroundings. Love him. And I recall MacIntyre being a little bitch sometimes. No one has ever said that about Larry Elder. He’s not mean or bitchy EVER.

Bernie Ward was a freak on KGO in San Francisco for years with low ratings. He was removed from radio when he went to jail. Similarly, McIntyre has been on KABC in Los Angeles for years with low ratings and should be removed because of confused speech.
I see nothing wrong with that advice.
