Every woman who loves a man knows that she has to learn to forgive or the relationship is doomed. Yes, men also need to learn to forgive women, if they even notice their flaws. Men are blessed not to notice many things that bug women to death. It’s the curse of Eve.
TTTT!
Because I wasn’t going to listen to the screaming, hectoring bitch one more minute, that’s why!
Way too many disenfranchised Bernie supporters for my liking. If they saw good in Bernie, why would they think a mega-capitalist would be the answer.
I don’t think they thought the whole thing out logically. But am damned glad they voted for Trump.
Common thread in this article: Women hate Hillary. I see it in my wife. She never got too excited by Trump. But thought him genuinely interested in helping people and voted for him. Ivanka supported Trump’s cause, too. But women hate Hillary — she’s an anti-role model for women and girls, too. It’s all too obvious.
“I have so many friends whose...”
This is why the Times does these talking to the natives pieces, they don’t know anyone who...
I guess I’m one of the women who confuse the New York Times so badly. I didn’t vote for Trump because who he is, and I didn’t vote against Clinton because of who she is. I looked at the two candidates and what they stood for and made an informed decision on which candidate’s positions most closely matched my own. And so I voted for Trump. Why is that so hard for the Times to understand?
I don’t want to give the NYT any more clicks than necessary. But the excerpt looks pretty good.
Wishful thinking here, but wouldn’t it be something if the NYT dropped its leftist propaganda mission and began to just report the news?
FWIW, we had double digit write-in votes for Bernie in our mid-sized precinct (1600 registered voters, 82% turnout).
No more dynasties for me!
I’m a Christian first in my life so that was at the top of my list of desires.....how can we be a Christian nation and show the world and Congress the best way to live.
The Supreme Court! Seeing who we lost and the two seats Obama filled....NO WAY was I going to let Hillary seat another left liberal or it would be history for our Constitution.
Hillary and Huma just were snotty rich women with horrid husbands and no example for what family should be. Bye to the Clintons and their ‘foundation’.....it will probably crumble under it’s own evil ways. Now they will get what their speeches are really worth $500, if that much!
So what’s Donald going to do with all these mad women in Washington.
My guess: have lots of pink tents full of refreshments. He’ll kill them with kindness.
Unless it is the Duck Dynasty, sister?
Donald bodes well for fulfilling the “speak well of those who do right” aspect of Romans 13. He’s just wonderful with Christians being out. Other politicians seemed to treat them as something to be half ashamed of rather than the historical and prospective future pillar of American greatness. This is state interfacing with Christendom like it should, rather than as a co-opt opportunity.
Ronald Reagan was criticized by the media organs of his day for not being in touch with women, however he obviously got enough of their vote that this could be seen to be a distortion.
Donald Trump has not made as large a splash, but it still was a decisive one by the current election rules. It’s vain to complain that he didn’t win Calvinball. Nobody truly wins Calvinball.
But anyhow, the biblical curse of Eve was that she was fooled while Adam wasn’t (Adam’s act was more willful, Eve’s more emotional).
There is an upside and downside to not noticing such things. It might facilitate ordinary social life for the men to just brush this stuff off.
Jesus actually does notice everything — this is how it was so easy for him to empathize with troubled women like the adulteress allegedly caught in the act — but He still does the right thing in its face out of His divine love. Instead of building a wall against the bull, He takes the bull by the horns. I’ve found myself, a fellow, getting more and more on that plane of understanding. It is challenging spiritual footwork, but oh how fruitful it is.
Really???
Does anything more need to be said?
Just in case...
LOL! "The curse of Eve tickled me a bit.
Ephesians tells women to respect their husbands and for men to love their wives and it is a key p[art of your assertion because women are more tuned into the "love" part and men are more apt to value the "respect" part. If we both come out of our "nature zones" and aspire to meet each other in their zones, good things happen between men and women.
That from my wife who claims I'm the smart one......she has no idea of how I respect her despite my attempts to make it clear.
