He could have simply said, "Well, there they go again". Or, "Celebrities know nothing of domestic or international issues. Their opinions are just that, opinions". Trump needs not go personal, as he does frequently. It is unseemly for the President. Again, he's the President partially because of his Tweets, just wish he would tone down the direct personal attacks. There is other phasing to counter.

I disagree with Trump — she’s a good actress. However, she is brain-dead when it comes to things outside that bubble. Why should I care what some actor/actress, no matter how good or how bad, comments?

Funny the most money making role that Meryl Streep ever played is her role in “Mama Mia”!!! All her other flicks made pennies compared to the bucks that flowed in from Mama Mia...over 250,000,000 million bucks!!! And....the witch, Streep can thank the great rock group “Abba” for that blessing!!!
