I have a feeling that a primary reason for giving up a civil service job and pension, is if you participated in criminal activities and do not want to be around when Trump’s new investigators show up.

Well, they do have reason to be afraid. But I always laugh when any of them threatens to quit a fedgov job. They’d much prefer to stay there and sabotage the new administration.

The vast majority of the federal bureaucracy is made up of Democrat voters. I hope they all resign. Otherwise they are there to sabotage the Trump administration.

I was a federal civil servant for over 30 years, and I NEVER saw anyone resign because they disagreed with the administration. Politically, about 60 percent of civil servants are liberals, and 40 percent are conservatives, particularly the veterans and retired military.

So she “worried about it”? Had no REAL reason to expect that and lacked the courage to stay and see if it would happen. Just made some assumptions and acted on them!
People like Diane are the reason I advocate decentralizing the government agencies into the states and away from D.C. Half the staff will refuse to go, and will try to stay in the D.C/New York/LA, San Francisco bubble zones. Diane would never condescend to work in Wichita, or Houston, or De Moines.

The (unintentionally) funniest article I read, and I wish I could find it, were the lamentations that DC nightlife is going to suck now that the young,cool, urban, hip-hop crowd would be leaving with Obama.
