Another large corporation has decided to cease donations to the Planned Parenthood abortion business.
After today, pro-life customers can resume shopping at Macy’s — which had been on a list of corporate contributors to the Planned Parenthood abortion company for some time. But today representatives of a pro-life group that tracks corporate donations to the Planned Parenthood abortion organization says Macy’s has ended his relationship with it.
“In the spirit of thankfulness and celebration that comes this time of year, we have a special update to share with you,” Lance Wray of the pro-life group 2nd Vote told LifeNews.com in an email.
“You may remember how four companies (AT&T, Coca-Cola, Ford, and Xerox) publicly distanced themselves from Planned Parenthood last year after our research exposed forty-one companies with direct financial ties to the abortion giant,” he elaborated. “Well, we are happy to report that we can take another company off that listMacys, who confirmed with 2ndVote last week that they no longer give nor match donations to Planned Parenthood.”
“We wanted to share this great news with you because the credit is due to our 2ndVote members who have engaged Macys and other companies for their position on the Life issue. This victory wouldnt have been possible without your involvement,” Wray said.
This latest development comes in the wake of undercover videos that showed Planned Parenthood executives talking about the sale of fetal body parts. Planned Parenthood is facing both federal and state investigationsand the possibility of losing taxpayer funding.
SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately
Corporate donors make a difference. Planned Parenthood receives $1.3 billion in yearly revenue, and of that, over 25% comes from private donations, including corporate contributions, according to 2ndVote.
Here is a list of the companies that still fund Planned Parenthood, according to the group:
It might be spelled Gimble’s. If I remember correctly, it was a big competitor decades back.
In the last ten to twelve years, I’ve been to a mall once and that was four or five years ago, to accompany a friend who was buying a Christmas present for her daughter. I don’t miss it at all.
Still, opposing PP can be tricky because many, if not all, of these situations will tell you that it is not the abortion wing of PP that they are helping.
That’s better than helping the abortion wing, granted that it gives name equity support to PP. (And the same thing goes for government grants.)
But I’d still want to know whether the abortion wing is being supported explicitly.
Just think. Five hundred seventy football stadiums filled to a capacity of a hundred thousand people. That’s the fifty seven million children aborted so far.
You can add these to the list of companies that do contribute to PP:
American Cancer Society
AT&T
Coca-Cola
Ford
Xerox
OK, but don’t use the bathroom there. They support Bathroom Invasion policy.
Kohl’s was allowing men in women’s dressing rooms 8 years ago. I complained and nothing was done. Haven’t been back since.
Be careful not to confuse Ford with the Ford Foundation.
And also remember, some contribute to the non-abortion wing of PP.
A flurry of unreasoning opposition is not the same as careful research and reasoned address.
Gimbal’s donates or doesn’t donate to PP?
Are they still firing employees who disagree that allowing men in the womens’ bathroom is a good idea???:

Yay! I’ve missed shopping there!
I didn’t know that! what the hell is wrong with these companies?! the only people I see in these stores are women and hang-dog husbands.
Please forgive, my cap lock works only on occasion these days.
Now we can shop at Macy’s with a good conscience.
Yes to that!
I was stunned to see the March of Dimes on that list.
No more donations coming their way — that’s or sure!
It’s Ford, the car company.
Where’s any evidence this at all took place? 2nd Vote? Who are they? And why can’t anyone show this email or some statement from Macy’s
I trust next to nothing on the internet, in print, or out of peoples mouths.
Does anyone have another source where this can be verified?
What non-abortion wing?
Abortion is their only business.
Are they saying they are NO LONGER DONATING to Planned parenthood period, OR saying they are not donating to the abortion part of PP because they ARE ONE IN THE SAME!!! This would mean NOTHING if one dime goes to PP in ANY WAY!!!!
Thanks for the list.
I don’t do business with ANY on that list.
