Is Donald Trump already the president?

President-elect Trump has spent the month since his election victory engaging in some distinctly presidential-style behavior, including engaging with businesses on behalf of the American people, conducting a bit of foreign policy, and delivering sweeping public addresses — all before he holds the authority of the presidency.

With weeks to go until he takes office, Trump's moves have tested the limits of his unofficial powers as the president-in-waiting. And although his activism has drawn scrutiny from detractors, his favorability ratings have hit new heights on the heels of several high-profile successes.

"I don't think it's normal for a president-elect to be out and about like this, but this is the era of Trump, and he is literally rewriting the rules," said Ford O'Connell, a Republican strategist.

"Things always change when you actually are sworn in, but at the same time, he is taking advantage of this and throwing his weight around while he's got the momentum," O'Connell added.

People show up when he comes to town, they tune in when he is on the air. I don’t think anyone cares what Obama says at this point. No one believes anything he says, no one is interested in anything he says.

And any policy decisions he makes, they just wait it out. They know he’ll be gone in a few weeks. And it brings a smile to their faces.

Trump has done more to help the economy in one month as president-elect than Obama did in 8 years as president.

Trump is trivializing Oblunders last few weeks in office. EVERYTHING he says, or does is taking away headlines from BHO.

Inauguration Day 2017, the day Donald Trump will assume the role of chief executive of the United States, is Friday, Jan. 20, 2017. The nation’s 45th president will be sworn in on the steps of the U.S. Capitol at noon, when the term of President Barack Obama expires.

I truly hope and wish that Trump makes an announcement on this day that he is sending troops to the border to stop the insanity.

I have YET to hear any MSM call BO a lame duck president.

I heard those words nonstop with both President Bushes and President Reagan.

When the war starts, unfortunately, Obama will be president.

Of course, the Pentagon might decide to take orders from the Sec Def designate rather than the lame duck. That would be interesting turn of events

In a sense he already is the President because he is showing LEADERSHIP. Obama only showed leadership when he was attacking the American people!

Trump became president in 2011 when he offered 5 million for digging up Obama’s birth certificate.
