Michigan will become the second state to conduct a recount of ballot casts during the 2016 presidential election.
U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith early Monday morning issued an order for Michigan election officials to begin counting ballots starting at noon. The ruling follows a request from Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein after a razor-thin margin made the state the last to be called in the November election. President-elect Donald Trump ended up winning Michigan's 16 electoral votes by just 0.2 percentage points, or just under 10,000 votes out of over 5.5 million cast.
"It is inexcusable for Stein to put Michigan voters at risk of paying millions and potentially losing their voice in the Electoral College in the process," Schuette said in a statement. Trump supporters in Wisconsin have unsuccessfully tried to stop the recount in progress there. Stein's campaign, who withdrew a recount request in a Pennsylvania state court, this weekend said she would instead file the lawsuit seeking a statewide recount in federal court Monday morning.

I really hope Trump puts the FBI and justice department onto the case, an congress passes a national voter reform act requiring voter id and purging/reregistering of voters using reliable proof of citizenship.
I sure hope those ballots are secure so the Rats can't fill in the Hillary box. If examination of those ballots shows so much as a pencil smudge in her box, they will call it "voter intent" to vote for her. Here in NM I personally know several people so disgusted with both selections that they left it blank or voted for Johnson.

This is the rotten fruit of the USSC agreeing to hear a nonjusticeable political question in the Bush v. Gore matter.
We will never have a decisive election again if this is allowed to continue. The appointment of Michigan's electors is a plenary power of the State Legislature.
It is a serious error to fight this in a Federal Court. That Court should be IGNORED, because it is attempting to interfere in a process outside of its competence and authority.
I'd have a hard time believing Trump's people aren't on this like Rosie O'Donnell on a toilet seat. They'll have watchers at every point.
