Stein in such a hurry to getting moving in MI, but slow walking the count in WI. I guess this means they hope for a flip in MI while WI won’t turn. So flip MI and disenfranchise the vote in WI

The question has nothing to do with law or tradition, but whether the judge is a conservative or a liberal. Hmmm? Detroit? Guess what he is.

He is a Barry Soetoro appointee.

My prediction is that the recount will go forward.

Yeah, he seemed skeptical in arguments the media is saying. Typical cover from them. I agree with you. He’s gonna say “oh, it won’t hurt..let them count.”
I cannot even fathom why, 20 days out from the election, that they would even consider a recount.

So this judge could force the recount to begin but it could be halted at a later date when the appeals court makes a ruling. Am I reading this correctly?

Yep. She wants to get her hands on the 75K ballots who had no vote for President and then they will decide the intent of the voter. Today on Chris Wallace she talked about those ballots and she also said there is no way you would go to vote but not vote for President. There are article upon article right up until the election saying how both candidates were not liked and many people would vote on other things but would leave the President vote blank. I know 2 people in California who voted but opted to not vote for president.
They are going for the steal if they can get their hands on the ballots.

Stein filed for recount. As is his proragative as winner DT filed a motion to dismiss. Court scheduled early this week. Stein, not happy with WI law allowing above, decides it best to bypass WI law B4 the hearing and fast track this via a Fed court.

I guess it depends on whether the Mich Supreme court gets involved . . . I don’t expect them to overturn. If it goes to the SCOTUS, the best we can probably hope for is a 4-4 decision which will remand the case and the lower court decision will stand.

she also said there is no way you would go to vote but not vote for President.

Absolutely wrong. My daughter's mom did just that, quite deliberately, because she didn't like either candidate. (Besides, being in Massachusetts, it didn't matter whether she voted for president or not.)

I know a lot of people who hated both candidates and skipped the presidential candidates portion of the ballot. I think they would be pretty ticked off if someone voted for them for president. Plus, this didn’t just happen in one state. I’m pretty sure this happened in all 50 states.

Fed court is PA, not MI or WI. WI recount underway and probably can’t or won’t be stopped. And as of now, DJT has gained more votes than HRC. I’m asking specifically about this case and the state of MI. The judge had a hearing today, which is odd, about whether to immediately start recounting or wait until Wed. He could say, “Sure, go ahead.” and it seems the appeals court could then say, “No, stop.”

Since MI certified its slate of electors and sent them to the National Archives on 11/28, meaningless.

Yes, the argument is absurd. I knew several purist conservatives who couldn’t fill in the circle for anyone for president but wanted to vote against a meals tax in our county, so they went to the polls anyway. Left president blank.
