Jill Stein Vows To Launch Recounts In More States To Ensure "Election Integrity"
Zero Hedge ^ | 11/28/2016

Posted on 11/28/2016 9:01:59 AM PST by SeekAndFind

After drawing criticism from almost everyone for her recount efforts in WI, PA, & MI, Jill Stein is doubling down saying that she "would support efforts elsewhere to uphold election integrity."  Ironically, the only thing actually threatening our "election integrity" at the moment is Jill Stein's recount effort.

Experts pointed us towards WI, PA, & MI as the largest chance of fraud, but we would support efforts elsewhere to uphold election integrity. https://t.co/CypfEBc8Qn

— Dr. Jill Stein (@DrJillStein) November 28, 2016

Just yesterday we wrote a note asking why Jill Stein was pursuing these recount efforts (see "Is This The Democrats' Real Strategy In Launching Recounts?").  Certainly there is practically no hope of switching the ~100,000 votes that would be needed for Hillary to win WI, MI and PA and even the Obama administration and the Department of Homeland Security have confirmed that there is no evidence of election hacking.  Which left us to speculate that Stein is simply hoping to disrupt the electoral college process to push the 2016 election into the hands Congress while drawing the legitimacy of Trump's presidency into question.

Now, this morning we have a direct confirmation from Stein that her campaign has absolutely no proof of election tampering.  Explicit confirmation that all the disaffected Hillary supporters have been duped.

Everyone asks if hackers altered our election results. We don't know. #Recount2016 will assess systemic integrity. https://t.co/hjQkhgILMX

— Dr. Jill Stein (@DrJillStein) November 28, 2016

Meanwhile, basking in the glory of her 15 minutes of fame, Stein has launched a tweet storm lecturing everyone on how to create a real "democracy."

Clinton + Trump: Want democracy? Enact a national "right to vote" law to guarantee universal, automatic, permanent voter registration.

— Dr. Jill Stein (@DrJillStein) November 28, 2016

In a society w/ crooked politicians and businesspeople who don't pay their taxes, it's understandable people are skeptical of #Recount2016.

— Dr. Jill Stein (@DrJillStein) November 28, 2016

Clinton + Trump: Want democracy? Use verifiable paper ballots, and institute mandatory, automatic and random precinct recounts.

— Dr. Jill Stein (@DrJillStein) November 27, 2016

Clinton + Trump: Want democracy? Make Election Day a national holiday, so everyone has the opportunity to vote.

— Dr. Jill Stein (@DrJillStein) November 27, 2016

Clinton + Trump: Want democracy? Enact laws guaranteeing the presidency to whomever receives the most popular votes in all 50 states.

— Dr. Jill Stein (@DrJillStein) November 27, 2016

This is a good game, and we have another: "Jill Stein: Want Democracy? Don't steal millions of dollars from disaffected Hillary supporters to challenge elections where you have no evidence of election tampering and no chance of changing the outcome."

So far only WI has agreed to do a recount. They are meeting today to decide on a timeline but have already committed to have it done by the EC vote on 12/19.

There is a much tougher bar to get MI and PA recounted and we will know later this week as their recount deadlines are about to expire.

Jill Stein filed in Wisconsin two hours before the deadline! That's cutting it close. It's also telling me she's not serious. If there was a chance in Wisconsin, the recount request would have been filed the morning of Nov 9th and it would been a team of Clinton lawyers doing it. Not Jill Stein two hours before the deadline!

From the article:And that, FReepers, is what this is all about. Has been from the very beginning. All this, "insuring integrity" is fluff and nonsense.

If Congress has to vote Trump into office, the RATS will claim that Trump lost the popular vote, lost the EC vote and is President ONLY because Republicans control the House and Senate.

I kindof agree with some of what she suggests, with caveats:

"Want democracy? Use verifiable paper ballots, and institute mandatory, automatic and random precinct recounts."

Not sure what she means by "verifiable," but if it means that it can be verified that ballots were cast only by those legally eligible to cast them, while still preserving anonymity at the polls, then yeah I could support that.

"Want democracy? Make Election Day a national holiday, so everyone has the opportunity to vote."

Hear, hear! And then do away with "early voting." Absentee votes of course are still okay, provided you can show cause to request an absentee ballot. Otherwise, get yourself to the polls to vote, on Election Day. Yes, I know employers are already required to give you time off to vote. But to have the entire day be a Federal Holiday eliminates any question of dealing with an employer on the matter.

The rest, well, not so much.

Actually making election day a national holiday MIGHT not be a bad idea; it gives the SICK/LAME/LAZY/AND STUPID another day to get drunk, drugged up, and forget where their polling place is.
Better still make election day on a friday and a national holiday, gives all the idiots a 3 day weekend to be out of town, those who put PERSONAL PLEASURE before DUTY should not be allowed to vote.
1: ONLY BALLOTS THAT ARE CAST AT A POLLING PLACE SHALL BE COUNTED.
2: NO EARLY VOTING; ONLY ELECTION DAY VOTES SHALL BE COUNTED.
3: ABSENTEE BALLOTS SHALL ONLY BE SENT TO ACTIVE MILITARY PERSONNEL AND ACTIVE PUBLIC SAFETY EMPLOYEES.
Works for me; I haven’t missed an election since 1968 (active duty military absentee ballot), anybody who says they can’t take a couple of hours every 2 or 4 years to vote, shouldn’t be voting.

That wouldn’t work for DJT, because he has an “R” after his name.

Some people are willing to sabotage the nation to enrich themselves. In this she is just like Hillery.

She is set for life now.

I will NEVER vote Green, seems Green has become the new red.

Want Mob rule, follow Jills advice.

Why we could save Billions by not having to hold elections outside New York ND California, they alone are the majority.

Freaking morons...

Generally I would agree, but not everybody can make it to an official polling place on Election Day. My father, for example, got sick and was confined to the hospital for a few weeks and missed Election Day 2012. He was able to vote via absentee ballot, but leaving the hospital for any reason was absolutely out of the question. Nor could he schedule his stay around elections (he didn't choose when he got sick, after all).

Likewise, there are situations when otherwise healthy people simply cannot make it to the polls on Election Day. Suppose an out-of-state parent or sibling dies, and you need to travel for the funeral? I believe a person in that situation should be allowed to vote via absentee ballot.

But I agree 100% with "those who put PERSONAL PLEASURE before DUTY should not be allowed to vote."

Didn’t this Moonbat warn us all that clinton will start WWIII?

She just want her bank account enlarged and her butt kissed even more at the Boston high society cocktail parties that she regularly attends.

“Jill Stein is getting her name in the news more now than she did as a presidential candidate.”

A lot of that blackout was due to Stein siphoning off votes from the PIAPS camp. Now that it’s all over, Stein is now free to roam about the media since she is useful to them again. Prior to election day, she was a threat to her majesty’s reign.

Gotta love our media overlords! If people can’t see how frigging vile they are after this election, they’ll *never* learn.

You could be correct, I could be correct, or both. The rule is somewhat ambiguous:

https://www.archives.gov/federal-register/electoral-college/key-dates.html

Quote from link:

“If no Presidential candidate wins 270 or more electoral votes, a majority, the 12th Amendment to the Constitution provides for the House of Representatives to decide the Presidential election. If necessary the House would elect the President by majority vote, choosing from the three candidates who received the greatest number of electoral votes. The vote would be taken by state, with each state having one vote.”

An absentee ballot must be requested by the potential voter, I agree with you that there are occasions when an absentee ballot is appropriate.
Your fathers case is a good example; also the issue of a death in the family, family being Grand Parent, Mother, Father, Sibling, Aunt, Uncle, Cousins. My point being Immediate Family.
All of these cases and requests are verifiable through a doctor’s orders or a death or funeral notice.
Same verification I required of all my employees, and my employer required from me when the occasions came up.
Don’t have any problem with that; these are legitimate reasons and verifiable.

Thank you for the correction as it keeps getting better and better.

There are simply fewer and fewer reasons for all the panic at FR.

Hitlery is not going to steal the election, there will be no “constitutional crisis”, Trumps legitimacy will not be challenged.

What will happen is the leftists are doomed, they keep digging their own grave deeper and deeper. The age of little kids throwing their tantrums and getting their way is over. The adults will be running the show come January.

Trump and crew will make certain all this Stein/Hitlery bullshit is remembered come 2020, and the voting public will respond accordingly.
