Jill Stein Vows To Launch Recounts In More States To Ensure "Election Integrity"

After drawing criticism from almost everyone for her recount efforts in WI, PA, & MI, Jill Stein is doubling down saying that she "would support efforts elsewhere to uphold election integrity."  Ironically, the only thing actually threatening our "election integrity" at the moment is Jill Stein's recount effort.

Just yesterday we wrote a note asking why Jill Stein was pursuing these recount efforts (see "Is This The Democrats' Real Strategy In Launching Recounts?").  Certainly there is practically no hope of switching the ~100,000 votes that would be needed for Hillary to win WI, MI and PA and even the Obama administration and the Department of Homeland Security have confirmed that there is no evidence of election hacking.  Which left us to speculate that Stein is simply hoping to disrupt the electoral college process to push the 2016 election into the hands Congress while drawing the legitimacy of Trump's presidency into question.

Now, this morning we have a direct confirmation from Stein that her campaign has absolutely no proof of election tampering.  Explicit confirmation that all the disaffected Hillary supporters have been duped.

Meanwhile, basking in the glory of her 15 minutes of fame, Stein has launched a tweet storm lecturing everyone on how to create a real "democracy."

So let’s say the WI recount does not meet the deadline, then most likely WI electoral votes will not count.

If the re-count is not completed in time to meet the constitution's requirement for certification on 12/13, the state legislature is empowered to appoint its own slate of electors. It is this slate that will vote in the Electoral College on 12/19.

Given that both houses of the Wisconsin legislature are controlled by Republicans, there is no doubt as to who they will be voting for.

For the record, both houses of the Michigan and Pennsylvania legislatures are also controlled by Republicans.

trump needs to use this as an opportunity to go over the voter rolls and sift through all ballots cast in Chicago, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Miami, and anywhere the Dems control the vote counting.

Nice how they assert “the truth” without having any possible means of knowing. The chances are that SOME illegal votes were cast, the only question is how many. Of course they also ignore Obama stating if illegals voted nothing would happen to them. Their bias is in omission and holding a double standard on everything. To think that this brainwashing is broadcast at every airport is Orwellian. That most don’t realize they’re the propaganda arm of the DNC tells us how powerful the media is and how easily people are manipulated.

A number of states have enacted this law -- directing electors to vote for the popular voter winner, once enough states promise to do the same to constitute 270 electoral votes.

I doubt they will ever reach the 270 vote threshold. But, I expect it will fall apart when the electors will have to cast their votes for a Republican.

Although one can make the case that states can select their electors however they want, this will result in the mother of all voter disenfranchisement lawsuits, and it will quickly be struck down.

If they cast their votes for a Democrat, it's likely to not make a difference, as every state currently enacting the law is a safe blue state:

Time is running out:
For NV - Election certified on Tuesday. Recount must be petitioned within 3 business days.
For VA - Election certified on Monday 11/21. Recount must be petitioned within 10 days.
For CO - Election certified on Tuesday 11/22. Recount must be petitioned within 10 days.
All other states, except CA, MI and PA, have passed the deadlines for filing.
