He ain’t high just pissed off at the world I guess

Perennial winner most crotchety poster

It’s very personal and I guess painful for him but since he discloses nothing about himself who kmows

Maybe his wife ran off to follow Panic or Phish

He advocates mass execution for drug addicts which is pretty crazy

Wonder if he feels the same about alkies

He’s also big John Law on the Waco threads

Geography and urban or rural and race and ethnicity and religion are all better markers about how folks vote than marijuana use

Everyone I know who smokes except one or two folks vote right but in LA or Marin county or Boulder that would likely not hold true

I know pot smokers and legit growers in colorado and Michigan who voted Trimp

I’m fact most I know

But then again that is to be expected from who I would be friendly with

The Coors family

Purveyors of addiction misery and crappy beer

How can they possibly consider themselves conservative.

A twist on pot war logic

You can stop the drug war simply by sealing the border and ending taxpayer funding for idiots who overdose or get hospitalized using drugs.

I’m in Colorao frequently

So far no one has offered me on a street corner
Although I did see public weed smoking at the elevated mall downtown Denver two weeks ago

You want weed you go to a store

Some like Edgewater are open later than others

Biggest problem is colorado is the Latino vote and hipsters

Both have killed the state

You leave the urban centers on the front slope and it’s still a cowboy state

Avoid th crassness of most ski towns

Lord Breckenridge and Frisco are like Gatlinburg now...tacky

Denver really does have a hipster problem...and it’s not about pot...not all hipsters get high..many drink....too fragile to handle weed

It’s smarmy self obsessed progressivism whereby environmentalism and purging racism etc is the new God

That post was an attempt at humor.

Perhaps I should have added a /s tag.

Nashville has something of a heroin problem and it’s Mexican origin

It’s safe to say most Mexicans vote democrat

Just a wild guess but I’d wager most heroin addicts don’t vote

Donald Trump, notably, hasn’t said anything about drug policy per se.

He has said - quite correctly - that marijuana policy is a matter for the states.

drug advocates

Saying drugs should be legal for adults no more makes one a "drug advocate" than saying tobacco should be legal for adults makes one a "tobacco advocate."

It wouldn't have made a difference.

Guess who won Colorado.

No... it can't be! We need a recount. I was assured that all those Colorado druggies are good solid conservatives. Apple pie, hard work and weed stuffing for turkeys. They smoke drugs because they want a smaller government and less taxes. They lie around stoned because they believe in FREEDOM. They are defenders of the constitution! Especially the clause which gives them the right to make up illnesses and symptoms to justify their medicinal drug habit. And the other clause which grants them the right to make drug addicts out of others so they can profit off them, so they get those 40in flat screen TVs and rims and sheet.

From the article:

“the drug has been legal for years in most states. [...] Thirty-one states have reported overdose deaths from U-47700.”

There aren’t 31 states that have legalized pot - and it’s a safe bet many of the 31 went for Trump.

Only those with knee jerk reactions are allowed to post.

You and your common sense have no place in this thread!

I too have discovered medical cannabis. It is a godsend, and it allows me to live my live in a manner approaching normalcy.

I thank God for pot.

Wardaddy is a cautionary tale regarding drug use.

Learn from him: he is no longer able to use punctuation, and it is all because of “the pot”.

I am calling the waaambulance right now this second!

Daddy, I am going out to the desert next month to do some mountain biking. My friend wants to score peyote from Indians while there. I will get back to you on how that works out for him.

Lol

The real culprit is filling out too many of those blue books in college
I grew to detest genuine writing

Haven’t smoked weed once since 7/91 and not regularly since 83 but in the very fun 70s I smokers whole lot

A daily user as they say

It qualified as a lifestyle

Btw what it punctuation?

I am very punctual as in a bitch about it

I think as of 11-11-2016 that 25 states had legalized to varying degrees marijuana

Of those 12 voted Trump and Maine granted Trump one elector so this jbt notion that pot states all vote democrat is yet another canard

And if you look at the cow states and Colorado and Illinois and New York the biggest determiner is demographics and immigration not pot

Although I won’t argue that white liberals who smoke pot outside rural America and the South are more common than conservative pot smokers in conservative areas probably

Colorado is a special case

Rock music virtually sang siren odes post Haight summer of love extolling the beauty of and lure of Colorado

Poco

Pure prairie league

Byrds

Manasass

The Dead

Ozark Mountain Daredevils

Walsh and Barnstorm

Eagles

Jackson Browne

And so forth

And the freaks moved in no question

But Colorado survived that

It did not survive the hipster invasion

That’s where the urban tilt occurred

I was in high school, late ‘60s SoCal, when I first noticed a Colorado exodus. One factor was that Colorado colleges were heavily recruiting students from SoCal and I’m sure that plenty liked what they saw.
